I, Joker

has anyone ever heard of this story? "I, Joker" is set in an orwellian future where gothams citizens worship the "descendant" of bruce wayne as a god, and every december 21st he uses laser technology on prisoners to disfigure them and turn them into facsimilies of the original bats' enemies. It's not a very good story at all, but I was just wondering since I'd never seen or heard of it before

terrible . i skimmed through a few pages of it in a comic book store once , and i ****ing hated it.

One of my least favorite Elseworlds tales. It's Batman meets The Running Man. Sounded like a decent premise at first, but that changed shortly therefter.

my thoughts exactly, itjust proves that there is such a thing as taking too many liberties with the source material. I'd say it's less batman meets the running man, and more the running man with batman characters forced into it. Worst "batman" comic I've ever read. Though it really puts into prespective the whole "all star" fiasco, I mean, werid as all star is it doesn't come close to the utter trash that is "I, Joker"
