I think he's technically right in the spelling. The Japanese pronounce the "L" with an "R" sound. Seems to me Thread Author is a hardcore Anime/Manga fan by that tiny little hint.

Me personally I blame everyone involved with this disaster but a majority of the blame lies with Fox. They gave this movie the go ahead and ultimately how it was handled lies with them.
