Horror I Know What You Did Last Summer.....Again

These movies were nothing more than crappy attempts to capture the “Scream” audience. Just bad writing, acting and direction all around. The only way this legacy sequel will be worthwhile is if they make it a complete joke. Not too late to change the title! Some ideas…

I Don’t Care What You Did Last Summer

I Know What You Did Last Century

I Know What You’ll Do Next Summer (prequel!)

I Know What You Did Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Summer
I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer

I couldn't tell you. That's how much I've ignored it. :o

Only things I've seen about it is the Deadmeat kill count. And he genuinely tries to be nice and respectful about many bad movies. But he just rips into that one.

Would be kind of awkward if she didnt since they already started filming. WOnder if they had two different scripts ready or if she'll play a minimal role

Screw this. I’m still waiting on my Can’t Hardly Wait legacy sequel, dammit! We need to see the class reunion.

Aaaahhhh 90's slasher vibes <3
Again, I love both I Know... movies (the second one in particular) (...yes) and Urban Legend which shares some of the same atmosphere. I'm in. I don't care.

It looks more like a remake than a sequel but with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. shoehorned in there for nostalgia.

Otherwise known as a "requel" these days.
Depending on the movie. Halloween '18 and Scream '22 were very much sequels despite their titles. This one probably follows that same pattern but the fact that this new group seems to have the exact same type of vehicular manslaughter inciting incident as the original movie does has me side-eyeing it.

I suspect where the script for Halloween 2018 and Scream 2022 hinged on the originals returning, this feels like they had a script ready to go without JLH or FPJ in case they opted out.

Yeah, I feel like they could have gone with a different “summer” incident this time around.
