I woke up at 5:30 AM this morning with stomach pains.
I waited about 3 hourse, but the pain wouldn't go away so I went to the doctor and they checked me out. After I had been there for about 2 hours they did a test and found out that I had kidney stones.

The doctor said that the pain I was feeling was a lot like the pain of childbirth. So now I now that giving birth hurts a lot more then getting kicked in the nuts.

Dude, a piece of advice:

Next time, if you have to go, just go. Don't hold it in until your bladder is near-bursting.

Minerals deposited in your kidneys that collect and form a stone. Usually because of calcium, which mine were. I probably have drank atleast one gallon of milk every two days since I was about 12 years old, so that's what caused mine.

That's it, milk is bad for you, there's proof right there.

I went to the ER one time and thought I had kidney stones.

"No, he doesn't have kidney stones." They told my parents.

"He has a testicular torsion."

I was instantly wishing I had kidney stones. The doctor had to MANUALLY untwist it!

I've never had kidney stones... but I did have to get drugs when I was giving birth. I had wanted to do it without the drugs, but there came a point when I just couldn't deal with the pain. Just as well, since I had to get a c-section anyways and the fact that I already had some drugs in my system meant they could operate sooner. (My little munchkin had wrapped the cord around his neck, but was smart enough to realize it and started backing up instead of going forward).

I never had a kidney stone, but I did have a calcium deposit form in my elbow after I had some form of tendonitis in high school. That damn stone ended my baseball career

If that ever happens again despite the pain you need to start chugging water and lots of it and it will go away.

You can also prevent it by drinking more water on a daily bases
