I think I hate my Generation

Yes, for me it is. I was never a huge RHCP fan anyway. I only liekd "Under The Bridge" and "Scar Tissue".

Yes, there were some good album released after OK Comuter, but none of them were masterpieces.
OK Computer wasn't even really that good, at least not in my opinion. And besides, nothing off of OK Computer was really mainstream besides Creep. And you can't really make a judgement of what a masterpiece of a certain genre is for yourself. Like how I would consider Rob Zombie's masterwork (as far as his solo career is concerned) to be The Sinister Urge. That was released in 2001. You're not a fan of the Chili Peppers, so you wouldn't consider their latest to be a masterwork. I would consider their best stuff, and probably the best album in a while. But I would never make the sweeping judgement that there will never be any other mainstream works just as good if not better ever again.

That's just silly.

Look, I'm not even a big Radiohead fan, but I will not argue that OK Computer is an amazing album. I consider Radiohead to be far superior to The Red Hot Chili Peppers, who I for the most part never really liked (especially when they butcherd Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground). "Creep" is a lot better than anything The Red Hot Chili Peppers have ever done IMO.

I was using the Chili Peppers as an example, not as an argument.
And you're just dead wrong about Creep. It's far from the best thing Radiohead has ever done, and the best work that the Chilis have done as well.

They said they were not much for Rock music...I did not bother to offer Led Zepplin, if they had turned them down I think I would have had to kill someone:(

i must admit..i lost interest in the chili peppers around bloodsugarsexmagik...after that i don't think i heard one song of theirs that i really liked like i used to like them.
I lost interest when I heard the wanky overplaying on both bass and guitar, and the ridiculous vocals.

Personally, for me it was when they ditched the socks.

I'm pretty much only into stuff from Black Sabbath to Pantera and everything metal(or Hard Rock) in between.
