I'm an Afro-American living in a closed-minded community, so for me, it would be my listening to what my community refers to as "white music" (Linkin Park, Nirvana, even No Doubt). I keep that stuff on the down lo, no diggity, no do-dah.

Funny, though cause I listen to J-Rock & J-Pop proudly, and have no problem with even siginging to my Japanese tune in public, regardless of other people's opinions. In fact, that's what I'm doing right now! Peace, I'm outted! Ya hear?

i listen to Orchestra style mostly film/game scores. i'm also a fan of classic/soft rock such as meatloaf, bon jovi and aerosmith

I am completely agree Evil...

I have soft rock like Celine Dion...Chicago...then Journey...
I also have some great instrumentals by Steve Tesh (he is the biggest cheeseball I have seen, but the music was good)
Then I have some Rush and a little Metal, although I dislike 99% of Metal

The rest is all country and a little soundtrack stuff...like the soundtrack to Wicked the musical

He's is one messed up individual, but his music is both critically successful and popular. So I would say you're safe.
