In the movie will Tony publicly be Iron man or are they going to use the whole, Iron man is Tony's body guard or will he be non related in the public?

Dont know....hope he has a secret I.D...., at least for the first movie.

I agree with keeping it a secret in the first movie.

But I also think it would be cool for the world to know that Stark is Iron Man, like in the Ultimate and now 616 comics.

So maybe he could reveal himself at the end of the first movie.

People are either gonna know he is Iron Man or that Iron Man works for him. I prefer the secret I.D. personally.

I prefer they go with the bodyguard or corporate mascot scenario and just have Iron Man linked to Stark Industries through creation of the armor. I don't think it'll be a public identity situation (like the FF), but it seems inevitable that a few people will be in on the secret.

If they stay true to the comics then Iron Man will be Tony Stark's bodyguard and head of Stark Security. I prefer the secret ID myself.

It's most likely gonna be secret identity in the first and might go on from that in further films.

I'm mostly familiar with Ultimate IM so I guess I prefer him that way. I didn't care for the Ultimate Avengers cartoon giving him the secret ID. Actually, I didn't care for that cartoon at all.

My hope is that not only does he keep it a secret, but when he's out as Iron Man, he acts like he's one of Stark's employees. Would be fun to see him do some insulting humor on himself.

I would like it as the comics before he let people know it was him. Were Iron Man is Tony's "bodyguard".

I have faith in Favs to stick to the original source material and have IM's ID protected. This isn't that hack, Sam Raimi directing this where, spidey's ID was revealed to almost everyone close to him:whatever: . This film is being done properly with respect and intelligence.

I've always prefered the secret identity myself. I've never understood the reasoning behind giving Iron Man a public identity.

^I kinda do. One way or the other, he's gonna be associated with Stark. Imagine if Batman was an employee of Wayne Enterprises. The Dark Executive?:woot: Still prefer the bodyguard route though for Iron Man.

i like the whole bodyguard and corporate mascot idea, its unique among all the other characters with secret identities

Secret ID all. I think they should definately stick with the bodyguard idea. I'd love to see some kind of speculation in the movie about who Iron Man is and what is his relationship to Tony Stark, only to have it revealed at the end in a humorous scene (probably a press conference) that Iron Man is Tony Stark's bodyguard and the new mascot for Stark Enterprises. Maybe even have James Rhodes in the armor for a bit of forshadowing.

I don't mind him not having a secret identity much, but I'd prefer it if he did, atleast for this movie.

If they keep to the original story (which so far they pretty much are!!) then Stark will Say Iron Man is his personal body guard! I think doing that will be pretty cool!

this is where i see it....

i do however forsee somewhere down the road his identity being more publically known...

yes indeed

It would be cool, Iron Man is the bodyguard and War Machine is the enforcer!!

Once Iron Man/Stark figures his stuff out, I'm sure he'll "come out of the armor" (That was funny, I am funny, wasn't that funny?) and reveal himself because if he truly saves the day, the jerk within Stark will want all the fame then. But only then. Before that, he'll have to keep it a secret because from the looks of flying jets shooting missiles at him, the U.S. government won't be too happy with him at first.

:cmad: I am hilarious. Thats the troot.

and by keeping it secret he won't have the army or feds trying to confiscate the armor claiming national secrurity:ninja:
