I have an interesting idea but a bit spoiler heavy

How will you guys feel if Vision, Loki and/or Gamora get revived in A4 but... 1 or more of the original bunch die in the process of "resetting" the universe. Let's say Ironman and Black Widow for example. Would that be acceptable?

I would find it unforgivable if they resurrect Vision, Loki and Gamora at all. The original avengers lives should be traded for the poof people. The people who actually died have got to stay dead.

I just saw the movie again today and realized that some of the last words Gamora said to Peter Quill and Vision said to Wanda were “I love you”. Half of me wants both to come back because they are still so young and new and I want to see more of them, but the other half kind of wants them to be permanently gone because their deaths were very heartbreaking and poignant (I think the latter half is still smaller than the former half though).

People need to die. I vote Hawkeye in the next and definitely Tony and possible Rhodey. Keep Loki dead as well

Hawkeye's definitely the one that needs to die the LEAST as he's the most predictable option and it wouldn't have much impact.

I feel like Steve dying would have more of an impact than Tony (plus a lot of people are calling the latter as well).
Loki, eh if he stays dead I can live with it but I certainly wouldn't complain if he came back.

Vision might also stay dead as well I think.

Gamora needs to come back as that was such a garbage way to kill off her character.

I disagree. Iron Man is the face of the MCU for people, so I think his death would hit the audience the hardest.

From now on, this is a spoilers thread guys. Proceed with caution passed this post.

Thank you

So we can post untagged spoiler in this thread now? Okay.

For Gamora if there isn't any new WOC in the MCU (apart from Valkyrie and the Black Panther cast) I think she's likely to come back.

Yes. I decided that this thread lends itself too easily to spoiler talk, so might as well have at it. As opposed to coming in here and having to tag for people a mile a minute, LOL

Not all deaths need to have a major impact. He’s easy cannon fodder

I'll be very satisfied if everyone (even Loki) lives.

I don't get the not wanting to see certain characters again thing unless you just don't like them. (Quicksilver)

I don't mind Loki staying dead, TBH. Gamora, as well. But I do think the latter has more chances of being brought back.

It'll make a mockery of the entire event if there are no heartbreaking consequences.

Of the dearly departed, I'm ok with Vision and Gamora coming back. They are both likely existing inside of the mind and soul stones, respectively, and I see them playing a role in wresting control of the gauntlet from Thanos.

But I don't want them plopped back into their former bodies. My preference is that the two of them evolve when they reemerge from the stones. I could see Vision, Gamora and a few others forming an Infinity Watch group of cosmic level stone wielding powerhouses.

I voted happily ever after. I hate death and destruction.. We see to much of it in real life. I also don’t know how an Avengers movie will do without the founding avengers. We saw in the cartoon that they replaced cap and stark with Captain Marvel and Black Panther.. That didn’t really work out well and lead immediately to the original avengers returning.

I think it is fairly evident that the Infinity Gauntlet will be used to make a few tweaks to the MCU. If anything, it provides an opening for mutants, the X-Men, and Fantastic Four to now be brought into the mix.

Even if is used to create a sort of "happily-ever-after" type ending for the 4th Avengers film, that can be used as a construct to create aftershocks that lead into the potential of Secret Wars, rise of Kang the Conqueror, Dr. Doom, Galactus, etc. All kinds of things become possible as a consequence of whatever happens.

It's not like the MCU is ending with the arc of Infinity War. So I'm ok if/when everyone gets restored, or other characters resurrected like Quick Silver. So long as the stories continue and new threats arise as a result of the "happy" ending, I'm good. Some consequences can be greater than just character A or B simply stays dead.

Black Widow have had a different hairstyle in very movie, assuming that avengers 4 takes place directly after Infinity War - Do u guys think that Black Widow will take time to change her hairstyle again.
