So i was thinking since now with the current reports that a move to canada is highly likely and miller also likely not to move with the production. Who would you guys like to see as a new director for the film, and think they could handle and understand who and what the league is?

Gore Verbinski, Matthew Vaughn, Doug Liman, Zack Snyder or Paul Greengrass

I want Brett Ratner, and then George Miller to come back, and then the project to die.

ok guard i was trying to have a nice thread on people who people want to see take over or think would be better then miller.

No shaky-cam crap. How about Terence Malick or Steven Soderbergh. :woot:

Seriously, Ridley Scott would be my choice.

Gore Verbinski or Ridley Scott.

We all know my support for Gore Verbinski for JLA or a Superman Reboot.

In my opinion there are very few directors who'd be better suited to do this film than Mr. Miller. James Cameron would be one for example. But since i don't think it's very likely that WB would be able to get someone as talented as Miller, i sure hope he dosn't leave. And it dosn't appear to me that he would either. Miller is able to take pretty much every material and make something great and significant out of it and i don't see why it should be any different with JLA. It's a gift only very few people have, so i'm really happy with him as director...

Miller is the one for me to imo.

but if if really he should leaves well really i have no ideal choices , just "worst case scenario" because a Cameron (and to a lesser extent) a Peter Jackson would not be available..they have (along Miller imo) exactly the talent and the experience for that kind of movie..

My "worst case scenario" would be :Zack Snyder should be able to make a really good justice league movie.. i just need to be reassured on his ability to make a movie with a little more substance less cheesy on the acting side and as "lively" as the Dod remake..300 felt a little artificial sometimes ..maybe the sylisation i dunno.

Alex Proyas, Chris Columbus or maybe Stephen Hopkins.

Chris Columbus (I was watching Rent the other day and the cinematography was amazing)

or

Brett Ratner (I know fans bit** and moan about X3, but for the time and script he was given, he rocked the hell out of it. Let's see what he can do with a proper production).

Since I always wanted The Wachowski Bros. to Direct the Superman films, and given the fact that it didn't happen, I'd want them to Direct JLA as a replacement. Those two never let me down.

I'm slowly losing faith in George Miller. It does seem the Austrailian Film Industry is more important to him than making the Justice League film for us. I don't want that kind of Director helming any picture I want to see made if he isn't loyal to us first. If he isn't gonna make this movie for us, then why does he even bother making it at all?

Gore Verbinski would be cool

Maybe Wolfgang Peterson, his last couple of movies were lacking but they had great scope and visuals, while his earlier work had good stories.

I like Miller. :/

Robert Rodriguez, Zack Snyder, Ridley Scott, Gore Verbinski

What about the Donner's? Would that be interesting to see them back in the helm of a DC flagship?
