If Superheros Really Existed, Wouldn't The Government Go After Them

If superheroes were real, I see it being a cross between Civil War and The Watchmen. The government would make them register and work just for the goverment and if they don't then they are to hang up their tights. Superman I could see doing this right away, he always has been a kiss ass to those in charge.

The only one's I can see that could work under the radar would be Batman and The Punisher. They would be more urban legend then superhero, and the goverment would deny that they are real.

This thread is somewhat flawed because if you take the example of Superman or Hulk the government will have a hard time doing anything. First off, the only weaknesses of Superman are Kryptonite and magic. Magic as such does not exist and Kryptonite is an unknown entity. The only other thing is a red sun which would also kill us.

Hulk based on current power stats could walk through nuclear bombs and only get more powerful.

If you want to put such creatures in the real world, I think you have to change the real world to become like the comic book world.

Well, it definitely could have went that direction but all documentation and recording of the project was stopped far short of that goal in 1976.

The official reason for ceasing the project is listed as
'funding halted' but the memoirs of the late Prof.
Leonard Stone and the first hand accounts of Dr. Henrik Leizen, Dr. Sarif Rahir, Dr. Kaitlin Lavouile, and Dr. Chang Li Chow reveal otherwise.

Lol, what are we with our present tech going to do against Superman or the Hulk? This thread is flawed!

I agreed about our current tech in my first post in this thread when I started it up. But what about eventually, that is, would science eventually find a way to defeat Supes and the Hulk?

Same as my above post. Superman and Hulk can also be physically hurt (which science may find to actually take them out) and there could be other ways to hurt them that we don't know about. If so, then could science find that?

All scientists would have to do is read a few comics. They already found kryptonite.
