If anything if The Hulk had his own solo franchise again then who should be the villains?

I wonder who you would cast as Betty Ross?

Better yet am I the only one who feels that The Incredible Hulk deserves his own solo franchise again rather than only showing up in Avengers films?

I mean the 2003 Hulk was a bomb and I can admit that but the 2008 Hulk was way better in terms of origin film set up and what not

I'm not really interested in another Hulk film, but we need to get She-Hulk into the MCU stat.

But then She-Hulk would have to be a part of the Hulk franchise which is why Bruce should have his own franchise again with him as the lead rather than being in an ensemble

Yeah, no Hulk solo, no She-Hulk.
Unless they push her to Netflix, and add Bruce to that show.

I'm still holding out hope for a solo Ruffahulk movie. Also Tim Blake Nelson needs a proper shot at playing The Leader.

Ruffalo as Hulk having his own solo film he should especially if Norton played Banner in the solo reboot

hulk definitely deserves his own franchise and betty ross needs to come back. recast her if you have to but i hated how they tried doing hulk x black widow in Av2.

It's a shame they never figured out how to make an outstanding Hulk movie. It works, imho, as a buddy movie, with Hulk and Banner being the buddies. That's really the only way to make a movie where the hero is not the hero and avoid making Hulk a really expensive cartoon. But they never want to take that route. I'd love to see a solo franchise, maybe even directed by Andy Serkis. He's the real guy who can do a visionary Hulk film.

Recasting Betty, getting a Rick Jones, Amadeus Cho, Jennifer Walters and etc really isn't the hard part. The hard part is getting Hulk to fight something we care about. Gamma goons and army gadgets don't quite cut it like they used to.

Well yeah but Betty Ross is a must just like her father Thunderbolt Ross is a must but at the same time they would have to have a good villain to start off with like how they did for the 2008 Hulk with Abomination

Ooooo! Idea time. After the events of Hulk 2008 Dr. Samuel Sterns was taken in in a coma. His cranium has grown rapidly and suddenly he wakes up and has slightly enhanced strength as well as a highly increased IQ and green skin. He is taken into custody by Ross for helping Banner and questioned. This is the plot for Hulk Sequel

-Hulk: Rise of the Leader-Ross and Leader team up to hunt down Hulk and use his blood for expiriments. Leader goes back to his lab to get samples of Hulks blood and uses them to create beasts that will aid him where he lacks brawn. Hulk easily dispatches of them and then is lead to Leaders base for a trap by the army. Hulk battles Bi-Beast Leaders ultimate creation and is almost beaten. But with his growing rage he rips the android monster in half and then beats leader down before stopping and going away telling leader to leave Hulk alone. Leader stands hurt but thanks to Bi-Beast has more of Hulks blood. Later that night Leader injects Ross with a serum making him a Red Hulk.

-Hulk: Seeing Red- Hulk vs Red Hulk....dont have a plot for it. Too many ways it can go. I had an idea they can introduce She-Hulk here. And Hulk is framed and put on trail where his cousin Jen Walters defends him. She is hurt in a red Hulk attack and Bruce uses his blood to save her.

-Hulk: Attack of the U-Foes-The U-Foes attack and Hulk and She-Hulk team up to defeat them.

Thats a new trilogy right there.

Edward Norton was so much better than Mark Ruffalo. Unless they bring Norton back, no thanks.

Definetly keep Mark Ruffalo as the star. He is the spitting image of Bruce Banner and I want it to stay that way for his MCU Solo Franchise!

Also, Is there any way they could have Red She-Hulk appear in the solo franchise as the explanation to what happened to Betty Ross since The Incredible Hulk? Bet she'd be angered by Banner choosing Romanoff over her and forgetting about her for so long that she would probably want to gain the Red Hulk serum to get revenge against Bruce for him cheating on her.

As well, could we get The Leader in the sequel to TIH? That character was teased at the end of TIH but never got used yet and he deserves to be used in an Incredible Hulk Sequel considering how he is one of Hulk's greatest villains..

As for General Ross, he needs to be a central character throughout Hulk's MCU Solo Films and continue his role past Civil War by Becoming The Red Hulk as Hulk's Arch-nemesis and Future Ally in the Third Film. Maybe he'll become his ally during avengers 4 or 5 maybe?

Anyways, I Lastly would wish to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man team-up with Hulk in a partial adaptation of Marvel Team-up : Spider-man and The Hulk for one of the films! With Tom's Peter/Spider-Man being praised as the best incarnation of Spider-man Ever on film with his appearance in Civil War and being the most comic-accurate version of Marvel's Poster boy, It would only be a dream of mine to see two of my favorite Marvel Superheroes Spider-Man and Hulk team up in either a Hulk Solo film or a Spider-Man Solo film.

One problem is that they still won't let the Hulk talk.

I want them to keep off any copy Hulks as long as possible in the MCU. This is too small a universe to start copying extremely special heroes like Hulk, or Thor with Beta Ray Bill. The Abomination was more than enough and the only shared origin characters I want to see is someone like the Leader, where the result is very different.

It's a different matter with technology based characters like Iron Man and Warmachine.

If Hulk doesn't talk in Ragnarok he might as well not talk at all. At that point it's gonna sound weird if he does.

We are in agreement that he deserves his own franchise

The Leader should be the main villain, and you can have other creatures as the muscle. The "humanoids" in particular would be interesting.

I'm also partial to Tyrannus, but the backstory would likely have to be changed. So far in the MCU only the Inhumans have been acknowledged as an "alternate" Earth society. None of the subterranean societies and the like have shown up yet: Eternals, Deviants, Lava Men, etc.

The Hulk strips also had a heck of a lot of alien foes early on, and that's something that as yet not in-depth explored beyond the Guardians franchise.

Ummm, wouldn't we need the Fantastic Four in order to introduce Subterranean Sociteties into the MCU? I mean their origin does include Moleman being apart of it!

I have no idea what "underground/undersea" characters are officially leased to Fox vs. what Disney has free reign with. My general guess is Mole Man is with Fox. I don't know about Atlantis. Same with the others. My guess is that for the MCU, the land-based underground societies might be considered too fantastic compared to simply depicting an alien planet. But who knows...

It's a shame they never figured out how to make an outstanding Hulk movie. It works, imho, as a buddy movie, with Hulk and Banner being the buddies.

That's a good starting point. There is potential for a new type of genre. Psychological action drama.

I had an Idea that involved the Leader using Hulks synthesized blood from the 2008 film. Leader has been testing it on people and turning them into gamma mutants. One of them ends up being Rick Jones, who turns into A-Bomb.

Banner stays with his cousin Jen, and Leader sends some gamma thugs to kidnap him. The Leader wants a pure blood sample from Banner. Shenanigans ensue and ultimately ends up with Jen getting injured and Banner doing the blood transfer, which leads to the inevitable She Hulk. (Post credits maybe).

3rd act is Banner confronting the leader and the Ufoes, Riot Squad or generic goons from the Leaders experiments. Somewhere down the line Rick Jones sides with Banner. They team up and we get the rock em sock em finale battle. Maybe we can weave She Hulk into the final battle.

They trash Leader facility. He gets away as SHIELD comes down to clean up the mess.

I'm trying to think of a way to include Geiger, Dr Samson, and Amadeus Cho.

Cho could be a young gifted SHIELD analyst. Geiger a victim of Leaders experiments. Banner feels responsible for her condition and turns surrogate dad or something. Haven't thought it through. I guess Dr Samson would have to be another escapee from the Leaders experiments.
