Comics If you could repower mutants...

GOD DAMN IT MARVEL. WHY'D YOU KILL CECILIA WHY?!
:cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

And they did it off panel and only revealed it in a letters page.

She was awesome. :o Marvel creates too many characters to just throw them away. (Cecilia, Maggot, the Gen X kids, the New X-Men kids, Stacy X, Adam X, the list goes on.) :cmad:

I'm getting pissed just thinking about it.

Especially if it wasn't in a core book and incredibly important, they shouldn't kill them. They shouldn't kill ANYONE EVER!

I wouldn't say not kill anyone ever, cause I do ocassionally like a good character death, but alot of the X-Characters have died for stupid reasons. (Cecilia, the New X-Men Kids, the Gen X Kids.)

A good character death? Jean in X2/Phoenix Saga. Colossus's death. Those are good character deaths.

Kids on a bus blowing up for the sake of blowing them up? Not good. Killing a character off panel? Then confirming her death in a letter column? BAD DEATH.

Sebita: Marrow's depowered. Just because she still has the bone protrusions doesn't mean anything. Stacy X still has her snake skin, but she's depowered.

Usagicassady: Cecelia is dead.

Outcry: Yes, Wild Child is a mutant:

Its cool. I had read somewhere that he wasn't a mutant but im cool with being wrong. Still it sucks that he is powerless. I liked his AoA version better regardless

Skin, Ceceilia and Maggot had the worst deaths ever. Gambit's AOA death was done poorly as well and seem very unneccesary.

It's ok. You're actually not the first person to have that same problem, so there has to be something contradictory but false out there that Marvel didn't do the best job of cleaning up.

Jubilee. She's my most favorite comic character ever... and is basically the only reason why I got interested in the X-Men in the first place. It sucks.

So why wasn't he listed in the 198 Files book?

With all these mutants resurfacing with their powers intact, Marvel should come up with a definitive book of mutants and go from there. Maybe even come up with a conceptual book of who they're thinking of resurrecting from the dead.

For the same reason Gaia, Adam X, and Penance(was she?) werent listed. Limbo characters: out of sight out of mind. The geniuses behind this event were not thorough enough to include ALL characters that were used at one time or another...like Red Lotus...he isn't on the depowered listing...neither is Skin's ex girlfriend, Torres, from the arc leading up to them leaving school for awhile.

Also what about the X.U.E. members Fix and Archer...Greystone is supposedly dead from the airplane explosion with Havok..but if Alex survived I am sure he could too...

The cleanup crew for Marvel must obviously work for DC

ROTFLMAO

Marvel has finally realized how idiotic the M-Day was and know no better way of getting around it, except to disregaurd it and continue where things were left off. 198 my @$$. They just don't care. Thought it was a good idea at first, but then realized it would be too much clean up after a while.
