Ok, I know this has done before but since its me making the thread there will be no problems, you heard me.

Anyway, simple question, if you could write one Marvel title what would you write? CHoose more than one if you like. And to make things more interesting pick an art team you would like to work with you. The choice is yours and yours alone, get to it.

P.S. If youre an artists, say so and thn choose a title you'd like to illustrate.

Mine:

Storm
Black Widow
Miss Marvel
Spider-Woman
Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau)
Spider Girl
She-Hulk
Cloak and Dagger.
Black Panther.
Daredevil.

Funny enough, of all the people I´ve mentioned, Storm is the only one I´ve ever put on paper.

Hmmm..........

I'd love to draw for Young Avengers or something. I mean, I'm nowhere near talented enough, but I'd love to.

Here's my drawing of Anakin Skywalker from Episode 2 http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/9118/darkknight9qa.jpg

Sarah Michelle Gellar decked out in...pretty ridiculous-looking anime armor, now that I look back on it:O. http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/1710/goddess6hd.jpg

I've drawn a bunch of other superheroes from Marvel & DC, but never got around to scanning them:o.

As for what I'd write...well, if I wrote for Astonishing X-Men then I'd have to stop reading Whedon's writing on it, and we wouldn't want that:p. So I guess...Adjectiveless X-Men, since I'm pretty sure I'd do a better than Milligan anyway.

I'd totally love to write a Jean Grey miniseries.

I was thinking about this and I came to the conclusion id probably want to write Marvel Adventures.

none, I want my comics to be good when I read them :D

I'd want to write, obviously, The Amazing Spider-Man.

I'd walk into Joe Quesada's office and demand that John Romita Jr. be my artist. Quesada says, "John is busy". And then I say, "He is NEVER TOO BUSY FOR SPIDEYINATREE!!" And then Quesada realizes that this faceless Internet poster is quite important and gets me Romita Jr. on the book.

I then start out with a Doc Ock story arc. In the meantime I'm setting up the return of Kaine. When Kaine returns he informs Peter that he's been following Osborn and that he found Peter and MJ's daughter. I'd then focus my run on Peter and MJ searching for their daughter and, of course, eventually getting the child back and we have a lovely Spider-family at the end of my run. :)

pre-HoM "New X-men" when the school was crawling with young mutants... that could have lent itself to many more great stories... this current striker rehash is blah...

The Avengers .... I would make it Ultimates esque with a line up containing marvels most recognisable characters (with the exception of Wolverine). I would change several predicates of the individuals.

Dream Tream :

Strange (Power levels on Doctor Shaman's level)
Hulk (I make him more like Mister Hyde from, The League of Extrodinary)
Iron Man (Keep his personality the way it is, but devlop his Nano tech powers)
Storm
Emma Frost (keep her how she is, I.e. a Total *****)
Ghost Rider (Make his personality more like Elijah Snow from Planetarty, but with his traditional Ghost Rider powers)
Spiderman (Depict in the same way BB, does in Ultimate Spiderman)
Dare Devil (Keep him close to BB's interpretaion, but give him a darker role simillar to Rorsarch )
Captain Ammerica (Make him more emphatic , ie the way he is depicted in the Ultimate vesrion and by Ed thingy).

I would have them intergarting with more with the mutatants. I would have them fighting the likes of Graviton, Nimrod, Abomination, the X-men and Beta Ray Bill. I would have a huge saga simillar to the Infinite Crisis, involving Thanos and The Super soldier Serum. :)

I'm working on a Fantastic Four page for my portfolio. I would love to draw Spider-Man or the Avengers. Something with big action amazing stories. Something that doesn't shy away from being super.

Young Avengers
Daughters of the Dragon
Black Widow
Iron Fist
Elektra

Writer:

Wolverine-Wanna recapture the feel of the old school Wolvie title. Ya know, th' one where he was a cunning little badass who could kick yer ass.

Marvel Team-Up-Unlimited combination possibilities could make fer some great stories.

Marvel Spotlight-Screw this newspaper format. I'd make this a title dedicated to all th' characters currently in limbo right now. My first arc? Sleepwalker, baby!

Ultimate Spider-Man-Just so I can have Spidey NOT lose his mask, NOT get his ass constantly kicked and not sound Jewish.

Ben Reilly: Spider-Man-An alternate MU title where Ben Reilly lives on. Fer all my fellow clone-heads.

I'd like to draw Thor, naturally. As hard as it is for me to draw the character, since he's my favorite and nothing I ever draw of him looks quite good enough, I'd do my damnedest to get past that.

My second choice would be to draw a new Damage Control series with Slott in the writer's chair. :)

Personally, I'd love to write Deadpool. I'd probably take the series in a more fantasy related direction. Mainly because I'd like to see Wade in a bar in hell knocking back a few brews with Lucifer.

I would love to do 12 issues of the runaways:up: or the young avengers

I like your ideas.

i'd like to write a hellcat ongoing. that, and a squirrel girl ongoing. it'd have a little bit more of a serious tone, making sg kind of a darker vigilante hero.
i'd also love to do a nick fury book.

as for drawing, i'd kill for a crack at the ff. that and daredevil.

and now that i'm really thinking about things, i'd love to write and draw a series about young heroes in new york. something akin to nyx.

I've done this idea before, buts it's what I'd like to write.

NEW
EXCALIBER

Roster:

Union Jack
Captain Brittain
Black Knight
Blazing Skull
Silver Sable
Sabra
Fantomax
El Aguilla
Spitfire

Premise:

Basically it's the European Avengers, with Union Jack, Captain Brittain and Black Knight being the equivalent of Cap, Tony and Thor for the Avengers.

I feel Union Jack in particular is ripe for a revival and would lead this version of Excaliber, with Cap'n Brit filling the Thor role of team power house and Dane Whitman with his great intellect being the brains of the group.

I'd use villians like Moses Magnum and Count Nefaria, powerhouse bad guys who like Task Master have major potential.

Not feeling the Squirrel girl bit, SG is not the type of character that needs a 'Darker tone' She's a friggin mutant rodent girl with 'Nut sacks!' and a sidekick named Tippy Toe.

:down

I would like to write Man-Thing. I don't know why but I would like writing some kind of weird horror comic.

Any Spidey titles
Silver Sable
X-Men
Venom
Deadpool
Blade

I'd like it if you guys/girls would at least give a short premise of how you would do the books of your dreams.

Just giving a list of names is kind of boring and repetitive.

Cable and Deadpool- Bring some of DP's old supporting cast (Blind Al, pre-betrayal Weasel) into the mix and have Wade trying to lighten Cable up a bit, since you'd think he'd do that.

Avengers Unlimited

Captain America
Hawkeye
Vision
Ms Marvel

The comic- anyone with an avengers card gets called to duty at anytime kind of like being on-call. Which makes the team ever changeing and it gives as reason for some odd or never been done before team-ups.

Writer(s)
Ed Brubaker
Robert Kirkman
