Well. I'm going to pretend I'm Apocalypse only in the movie, who doesnt have mind control powers and basically has to rely on his charisma to convince people.

He was absolutely right choosing Magneto and Storm. Both are extremely powerful and he makes them even moreso. Angel was a stupid choice though and basically a fanservice choice in the context of the film. Psylocke was fine... with Apocalypse boosting her she shouldve been even more powerful though.

Given the mutants already introduced/not dead/of age, I probably would've just replaced Angel with Wolverine. Gambit may have also been a viable option over Psylocke. But no big deal.

In the movie, I would think of WHY they would make a good Horseman. Magneto and Storm were fine. Storm was disgustingly underused though. Angel was an okay choice, but still useless overall. He was the one Horseman I was hoping would be the stand-out since he was the "main" one in the comics.

Psylocke was just a big loser, unfortunately used just for action and eye candy. Kinberg should have done this in the movie instead of the boring whip:

Replacing her would be Nightcrawler (global teleportation with augmented range) instead of giving Apocalypse lame ass portals. Like honestly.. some people thought it was Psylocke's portal.

I wouldn't have minded the Horsemen choices if they actually DID something for the plot.

War- Holocaust (or Genocide or whatever they call him in 616)- Apocalypse's son, and utterly badass looking

Death- Archangel- Hands down the best Death, Apocalypse's legacy lives through him

Pestilence- Ichisumi- Creepy as s**t and one of the "final horsemen", giving this a generations feel, plus she went on to birth the heir to Apocalypse

Famine- Sinister- Classic Villain who is yet to be seen, looks awesome, and could use his advanced bio-tech to cause widespread drought and food shortages

This has nothing to do with the movie but if I'm En Sabah Nur, I would totally have Psylocke because she's fierce, amazing and my all time favorite X-Men character ever! Then Angel, so hot and dreamy! Then I want me some Polaris, she's also one of my favorites and her hair is just so lush and unique! And finally, I guess Gambit, because like he's originally my favorite X-Men character like back in the 90s like even before the first movie came out and before I am became aware of the goddess that is Psylocke. So those 4 as my horsemen!!!
