If your parents saw your entire internet history... how screwed?

Robbed the cradle with you wife, C.Lee? :o

She's 13 years younger than me....but I don't think that can be considered robbing the cradle when she was 29 years old when we got married.

Hah.

Actually, my dad was exactly 13 years older than my mom as well.

Of course, he was 46 when I was born. :o

Damn. I thought my girlfriend being 8 years younger than me was a big gap.

I can't wait until I'm old enough to date a younger woman.

Currently, if I dated a woman 8 years younger than me, I'd be in jail fairly quickly. :o

lol!

Well I'm already older, and around nothing but younger girls so it was meant to be lol.

My parents are not computer literate enough to check internet history.
Yep same here, besides I'm smart enough not to post personal stuff on Facebook.

My mother uses the computer to read her E-mail but my father is so computer illiterate that he doesn't even know how to send text messages on cell phones.

Seriously though, I do kinda prefer girls my own age.

There's that aspect of having a shared cultural upbringing that I really enjoy. That when you talk about watching Boy Meets World when you were 10, or Tiny Toons when you were 5...they were doing it too. They get the references, the meanings, the memories.

While I'd never hold it against a someone younger for not being a part of thing...there is something special about it all the same.

Lol I think my parents have the largest age gap - my dad is 20 years older than my mum.

Oh, and to keep it on topic, if my parents saw my internet history, they'd probably be a bit disturbed. :p Thank God neither of them know how to use a computer.

I think my girlfriend enjoys the fact that she can make fun of me for being in high school (or even college! ouch!) for certain things that she was a kid for :(

When I was a kid and still learning the ways of the internet, I never thought to clear my internet history. So one day my dad was checking out my computer when he saw that I had visited a site that was somehow related to Asians. I was sitting next to him when he found it, so I felt my face go pale. To his credit, he just looked at it for a couple of seconds then closed it down and walked away.

I think that made us even, because a month before I had discovered his Playboys.

So he pretty much was like this then. Shame and all.

Seeing as how I've seen my parents' internet history...

I don't think it would matter.

I did get in a bit of trouble with my parents when I was younger, because I discovered pornography when I was about 12 or 13 or so and housesitting for a family friend, and spent oh, I'd say 8-10 hours just seeing what was out there on their computer. The family friend called my parents up once they got home and logged onto their computer, and I had to go over and apologize. Said family friend was the person who then showed me how to hide my browsing history. Nice lady.

Most people I know do not know how to check their Internet History

History:
4chan-/vp/
4chan-/pol/
4chan-/gif/
4chan-/x/
4chan-/b/
SHH
Youtube
Unfiction
/cwc/

I guess it depends on the content when they'd visit any one of the chan boards.

I have a feeling if my dad was smart enough to know what to look for, he would be shocked, disappointed and probably disgusted with some of the things I have looked up over the years. Now, that I am 38, I should probably clear everything out just in case something happens to me and someone needs to come in and go through my stuff.

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! I spent the whole time looking at porn and Dragon Ball Z stuff lol

You name it, I've seen it online...Besides, I really never cared what my parents thought of anything I've done or haven't done.

I would not be screwed at all. I have my own house. I am not financially dependant on my parents at all.

That's your best friend's job.
