How was the PPV? Going to try and watch it tomorrow and just wondering what's worth watching and skipping.

4/10 and I'm being generous.

Her father's record is going to be broken soon most likely.

Yeah........still not completely sold on that idea. John will probably be marketed as the greatest of all time and that's just going to be silly as hell.

I might be wrong but it felt to me like the final match ended prematurely due to injury. I hope I'm wrong but it felt weird to me.

This thing where they refuse to have Charlotte lose on a pay per view is ridiculous and only validates those rumors about Ric Flair's involvement in influencing creative's direction with his daughter's career.

I like Charlotte but she is quickly becoming the "bad" Triple H of the women's division.

If Sasha is hurt again, fair enough. And if she is she's going to have to change her approach or she's going to have a very short WWE in-ring career. If she's not hurt, then it's a poor choice from creative to have her lose it again at PPV and have Charlotte win again, and definitely suggests either some favouritism towards Charlotte or that creative doesn't really want to back Sasha at all.

The other problem is if Sasha isn't hurt, and they've just booked her to lose again, it's like Bray Wyatt. There's only so many times you can call yourself a destroyer or a 'legit boss' if you keep losing those big matches.

A gimmick ppv around HIAC...doesnt work.
Not the slightest.
Elimination chamber...ok, Royal Rumble...ok, survivor series...ok.
But not for HIAC.

The PPV was mostly weekly match quality and not really good.

Reigns still feels like the heel in this feud and his booking is still stupid.
The worst thing is that Reigns itself is really not bad...just the way they book him in those matches and feuds.

Owens vs Rollins would have been good...if the "feud" would have been taken seriously.
But this crap with the list and all that, didnt help the match.
The Match itself was good...but damn it, why does the heel champ always have to look so "weak"?
It would have helped so much if Owens would have won on his own without any help.
He is the fighting champ god damn it...show me this.

The Main Event was good for what it was.
The First womans HIAC match could deliver imo and it was for this ppv the best match.
You have the obvious botches that come with sasha who is just to over enthusiastic?
But overall it was really great and had nice spots.
The Finish was however very anticlimatic, involving the second table more, would have done more good.
It was a bit of a sloppy ending that felt improvised.
Hopefully sasha hasnt hurt herself again.
I like charlotte so im cool with her having the title again, but one of them should hold the title for some time now...preferably sasha.
Mix things up a bit, it gets stale otherwise.
Dont know what they have in mind here with this all.

Would give it a 5 out of 10...but just because of the Main event.

Nia Jax has the size but not the intimidation factor to be a dominant female division wrestler at the moment. Askua has the presence to actually pull it off. She is running rough shot through the NXT women.
I think she's decent as a face, but yes, working heel is her bread and butter. I figured WWE would keep the title on her and turn her heel in time to build a feud with Baylay but maybe they have other plans now....
I loved hwe heel work for the Iron Woman match. She made Izzy cry.
I do like Charlotte, I really do, but I like a few of her peers a lot more. She's the female Triple H in a lot of ways to me. A wrestler I appreciate but not one I really love.

I agree with this comparison.

I went back and watched the ending, and the ref did a bit of a "fast" count, but Charlotte's music also played immediately after the 3 count, which would imply that they were ready to play her music.

I think the end was supposed to be Sasha going through that table and then Charlotte hitting the NS and winning, but Sasha didn't set up the table properly.

Personally though, I would have loved to have seen Charlotte go for the Moonsault onto the table, and either hit it and get the pin while being so broken that she didn't even know she won, or Sasha moving out of the way and then capitalizing with a pin in the aftermath. But there's no way they book this match to go last and end as suddenly as they did.

Also, it does kinda bother me that Charlotte owns all of the milestones so far in the past year. It would make sense if they were building her as this monster heel, but considering she lost to Sasha twice already, it seems weak, and reminiscent of Triple's H rise, although in his case, he has more sway in booking.

I don't know what you guys wanted from this PPV. I thought it was a really good PPV with all the matches being at least pretty good (except Dana-Bayley which I didn't expect to be good any way) with 2 of them being great.

Reigns v Rusev- I think people are kinder to matches with high spot and such because that match was really a brawl/ street fight with chains, kendo sticks and pretty good use of the stairs. Yes, they probably needed one big spot before the spear, which was great too, BTW and that what bumps it down to pretty good for me.

Dana v Bayley- Eh. Alright.

Enzo/Cass v The Club- The Club needed the win. They got the win. Good match.

Universal Championship- Great match. The table spot was brutal and the spot with Jericho's entry was pretty good too. I slight problem with the fact that Jericho was getting beat up too easily like a manager and not a wrestler that he is. People had a problem with the finish for some reason but I thought that is how Rollins vs Owens and Jericho should end, not by a stupid roll up double pin like last week.

Tag Team Championship match- I really liked this match actually. They made both the teams look strong though I'm totally done with The New Day. The story they told with Sheamus rallying the team towards the end.

Cruiserweight C'Ship- Decent match. Really happy Kendrick won- he's the only one I care about at the moment and creative really needs to address that.

MAIN EVENT- Sasha vs Charlotte- A few clumsy spots but overall it was a really great match. That announce table spot at the beginning was a nice touch. About the ending, I think Sasha was supposed to go through the table which was to be followed by Natural Selection and the absence of that table spot is what made the ending look weaker.

It's easily a 7.5-8 for me.

The way I see the women's title booking is Charlotte vs. Bayley now, with a huge pop for Bayley when she eventually wins (Royal Rumble, maybe?). Then Sasha vs. Bayley, with Sasha in her more natural role as a heel. At WM? Who knows.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised, especially if Sasha is hurt and just needs some time to recover, if we see Bayley take the belt off Charlotte, only to face Sasha, who was out for a while, for the belt at Mania.

I just think the Hell in the Cell has run its course. Specially since WWE can't do blood anymore what is the point. The Cage is just a weapon that people can use around ringside. Hell last night they were using Tables and chairs rather than the cage. HITC should only be used for one of the big PPVs. However what do I know I just think WWE really shouldn't be putting out all these PPV theme PPVs. Survior Series RR and maybe even Elimination Chamber is fine but HITC TLC and Extreme Rules is not really necesary

If Sasha losing the belt is only going to lead to her losing to Bayley at Wrestlemania, than consider me even more pissed.

According to PWInsider, Sasha Banks was originally scheduled to go over Charlotte originally to get the hometown victory, but at the last minute, Vince McMahon changed plans and had Charlottego over so that they could get a program between her and Bayley going sooner than later. They also wanted to push Charlotte's undefeated PPV streak intact to build her up more as well.

In addition, they also want to plant seeds for a match between Bayley and Sasha Banks at WrestleMania next year, and they'd like to get the build started towards the end of this year.

Well there you have it. Kinda glad about this, considering it doesn't indicate that Sasha was hurt or lost for that reason, but Sasha still should have won.

Interesting, but they did take off the title off Sasha before for injury concerns.

Happy Halloween, guys!

I'm not a fan of PPVs themed on matches either. I don't think anyone is. The only one I advocate is Money in the Bank which potentially has a year long fall out every time. So, it makes sense to have that as a cornerstone PPV like Royal Rumble.

I don't think Extreme Rules or TLC is necessary but I still get it. They are still legit stipulations, variations of which can theoretically be applied on every match on the card. But you can't have a HIAC or even an Elimination Chamber PPV IMO.

WOW!! They did it again. I didn't think that they'd be lame enough to do it again so soon, but they did. Sasha wins the belt on a random episode of Raw, then loses it back to Charlotte a few weeks later on the next PPV in her first title defense. We JUST did this a few months ago. And now, the freaking HIAC match isn't even the blowoff match because Sasha needs her rematch, lame. Also I'm just sick of Charlotte constantly holding the belt at this point, enough already.

I thought that overall the match wasn't bad (and as I expected, Sasha took sick bumps like she was trying to kill herself). But that ending was, not good. I think that they didn't compensate for the fact that the women weigh much less, so the table didn't break like it was supposed to. Personally, I would have had Charlotte try and powerbomb Sasha through the table one last time, so the finish didn't feel so weak. Also the Mankind homage went on for way too long imo. Still for two women with no experience in these types of matches whatsoever, it was pretty decent overall.

The KO/Rollins match was really good, but they're STILL dragging out the Triple H stuff and I'm beyond sick of it at this point. I'm also getting kind of tired of the Jericho stuff as well TBH, or at least how it's being done.

The Roman/Rusev match, ugh. These may be the most blatant case of "Super-Roman" booking to date, poor Rusev.

So let's get ready for more PPV wins for Charlotte.

Ugh...it's too bad Sasha is on RAW, because she and the New Day are the only reason I even pay attention to it.

Vince is a loon.

Are you seriously upset about the idea of Charlotte/Bayley then Bayley/Sasha? :funny:
