If you've seen it, your reviews here

Sandman since the movie is about war, what would you have them fight with. I mean back then all they had were spears and sword, as far as penetrating go, what would you have them do with spears and sword. I guess you wanted to see more kunfu fighting with those sword and spears. I guess If they had done that you would still say it was homoerotic, due to all the long stick banging. I guess there is a hidden path, that in the next few month you will find. I guess someone will be penetrating your fiery gate, or would you rather he flanked you from behind.

First, I'm queer and and comfortable with my sexuality and even if I was straight that insult is pathetic at best. Second, yes, this is a sword and sandals epic so I expect to see spears and such. That doesn't mean that they didn't make the metaphor obvious. Plus, if you couldn't see the sexual attraction between Stelios and Astinos, then I don't know what to tell you. Third, I never once said this was a bad thing. I would've been pissed if it wasn't in there. This is a movie about Greece and the culture was homoerotic. I had more of a problem with their depiction of the Oracle, as it was incredibly inaccurate for the sake of what seems to be misogynistic satisfaction. Fourth, I liked the damn movie. I had fun, it was hot, it tickled the alpha-male in my prostrate. Why do you have a problem with the movie being homoerotic or hypersexualized?

P.S: It's called a question mark it's that key next to your right shift button.

After the charging army had been pushed back, the Spartans seperated from their grouping and fought one on one. Leonidas did kill like 15 in a row. It was all one shot/scene. Slow motion swings, then fast motion swings. Like a fast strike, then slow motion seeing the blood splatter. One by one. Knocking back some with his shield, then spinning and stabbing with his spear. The scene was most impressive and one of the best ones in the movie, IMO. It seemed to last 60-90 seconds and at the end, I just laughed because it was just so badass!

Thanks,:yay: it sounds great, and about the decapitations where there alot of them?

I AM GOING TO SEE "300" AT 10:30PM!!!! WISH ME LUCK!!!

.....::::please be the best movie of all time, please be the best movie of all time, please be the best movie of all time:::::.....

;) :D

Back with a review shortly after!

SANDMAN oh okay that explains it. I did not see the attraction, maybe because that's not what Iam about. Anyways I guess it's like that psychiatry test. Where they show you a picture and you say the first thing that come to mind. I guess since your queer, you saw all the part that might be gay. Since I'm straight I did not see anything but men being men. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay. I guess we see what we wanna see.

Wasn't that the way Frank Miller had the whole Oracle scene in his Novel?

No review from me, as there is no need for one. The film was PERFECT! Completely FLAWLESS! If you havent already, GO SEE IT NOW, stop reading the forums and go see the movie.

Snyder delivered, plain and simple.
Amazingly faithful to the source material while adding more to it and not f**king anything up.
As far as people not knowing Leonidas dies, brush up on your history.. or better yet.. READ THE GRAPHIC NOVEL.
Frank Miller is an incredible and talented individual, it's nice seeing yet another quality movie come from his creation.
Maybe the success of this film will get more people interested in his work.

It's a problem I have with Miller's original work and I think the film really should have fixed it because it just doesn't work. I have no problem with making the Oracle sexual, but making her the sex slave of lepers serves no purpose other than, I can only guess, to satiate Miller's desire for having beautiful women at the mercy of ugly men. The Delphi Oracle's translator and "keeper" was the Pythia, a high priestess. The Ephors were elected officials that oversaw law, taxation, and war. Plato described them as tyrants. So his actual depiction of the Ephors is understandable, but bringing the Oracle into a sex toy is annoying.

Thats how it was written, thats what I exspect in the translation. Im very happy not much was changed.

It's a beautiful film...Probably comparable to Sin City...and that's saying ALOT, since that film is an all time fave!

Historically, the entire movie was a bit errrr...to be generous...I'll say he stretched the truth.

Just got back form watching this and I LOVE IT.
my adreline was going, I got goose bumps, this movie just resonates on a primal level for me.
my God, I kept thinking how great a THOR movie could be.

two thumbs up. Way up

So good I love the line "To be a Sparten you must stand, I just ask you to kneel."

I can't add anymore than I think it was above my expectations. I loved it!

The only thing that bothered me was the queen giving herself away. I know why they added it for teh film but it didn't really add that much to the story. It did set up the great death to the traitor politician but overall was not needed.

No other films comes close to those battles scenes unforgettable.:wow: :wow:

I wouldn't call it a masterpiece like many of you, but I enjoyed it! For a war film/historical epic it was unique. :)

BTW, if you guys want a gay movie go see Spartcus! ;)

It's a Miller trademark! ;)

Just got back from watching the film, and I thought it was AMAZING. It's on par with Sin City. The acting, music, cinematography, everything was fantastic.

Snyder rocks hard.

Besides "Pan's Labyrinth," the best movie of 2007 so far. It'll be hard to top (Hopes SM3 doesn't suck).

LOVED IT. 5/5, 110%, etc.

:up::up::up::up:
