What happened in Illuminati. I'm English so we don't get the comics over here. I know theres Professor X, Doctor Strange, Black Bolt, Iron Man and Namor but thats it

they were a secret organization with representitives of all major super hero groups and they made solutions to bigger problems and stuff just so they cud prevent large scale escalation when it wasnt necessary...they started to disagree though and namor left and they all just decided to call it quits after the registration act was introduced and tony stark wanted to support it. everyone like disagreed besides reed richards so they all broke up. hope this helps

Actually, they'll will ship on Thursday that's our normal comic day, unless we have a holiday. So we'll hopefully get them at the same time.

to be honest i do know we get comics but i can never get hold of them because no shops round my area seems to have them

no comic shops around you seem to have comics?

lol! he's just not looking hard enough. dude, if you're into comics but have missed a lot, just get the mainstream marvel uk collectors editions. theyre 3-4 years behind, but for the price of 1 US comic you get 3 reprints, a card cover, a good ol' traditional letters page and sometimes freebies, movie info, bios (for relatively unknown characters). Thats if u cant find a comic shop of course. theyre usually small dank things in the corner of your highstreet -- yknow, where normal ppl wont go.

I still get those, nice and reliable. Every UK reader should begin with these. I get these everymonth and then hand pick any trades I fancy.

Hey, Im english, just look out for any 'forbidden planet' shops. Ooh, or, go to any WH Smith. They sell these 'collectors editions' which are like 3 american comic books that they package as one, for about £2.50. They're stories that are a couple years old, but worth getting if your just in it for reading the stories, and not serious collecting.

They're great for doing big sagas. They hand held me through AOA and Onslaught and saved me a lot of time collecting only the most relevant titles.

BTW to the guy having trouble getting comics, try your nearest Borders or Waterstones. Borders are in particularly good, they do both numerous trades and up to date small comics.

You could phone-up Magic Labyrinth comics in Leicester and get the to mail you comics. They are pretty good and will ship all over the UK.
