Yellow or green mucus is usually indicative that your body is fighting an infection of some sort. A lot of smokers get yellow mucus from smoking because it causes their body to bump immune response in reaction to the smoke. I thought you were a smoker and thus my original response. If this is a constant thing for you, you might want to get checked out by a doc because it's not normal to have yellow or green mucus constantly.
