haha, no. that's crap. try to get one that isn't crap.

Honestly, if you're not gonna get a decent HDMI cable, then you may as well get component cables, or else you're just using HDMIino.

if i get a HDMI v1.3, which is a good version, isn't that good enough though?

Look, if I wanted to be asked a million questions, I wouldn't have aborted all my children.

than don't answers, i will just wait for a better answer, or link to where i can buy a cheap HDMI cable for my PS3, hopefully on Ebay or Amazon

I got a question:

Ok so:
Yellow-Red-White = AV/Composite Cable
Red-Blue-Green = Component Cable
Black 4-dot = S-Video
Blue Monitor Cable = VGA
Black Monitor = DVI
Slim Black Insert Cable = HDMI

Now, WTF is orange? Is that High Quality Audio?

basically, yes

supercedes red and white (L + R) stereo audio cables.

Is there more that come with it, or is it just Orange? And what's it called?

I think the proper term is SPDIF, but I usually just call it an 'optical' cable. The difference in sound quality is L+R (up to 5.1?) and 7.1 (true surround sound).

And yes, it's just that cable by itself.

AMAZING! I want one! Is there anyway to turn the Green/Orangish-Pink/Blue computer cables into on of those SPDIF cables? Cause I have surround sound with the computer audio cables and it converts to L&R cables but I want SPDIF for better audio.

Uh, it's tricky... highly defined audio is more dependant on your sound card... not the cables you use. In other words, whatever your peak power is from your sound card is what you'll get out of your speakers, regardless of cables.

To be honest, it's really gonna come down to the manufacturer. You probably couldn't even tell the difference between that cable and a good set of component cables, even if you are using 1080p.

Buy one from Newegg. They have great prices and a wide variety of brands. They're also very trustworthy. Items come 2 days after shipped. Ebay guys might rip you off, so check their user feedback first.

i agree

but u don't need an hdmi cable to get nice high defination. just buy a good quality composite cable.

I get 1080p on a projector with some HD AV cables from Microsoft on my XBX360

HDMI is just a different connector that allows you to view high quality images, videos, games, etc.
