When X1 came out, we got the Xorneto storyline (Planet X) and the movie-inspired Ultimate X-Men. When X2 came out, we got the return of Reverend Stryker in 616 continuity and Deathstrike's introduction to the Ultimate Universe, plus a Nightcrawler series. Now that X3 is out, what do you think the impact of the movie will be on the comics? Will the Phoenix come back (yet again)? Will the Cure become a plot point again? Juggernaut back to his evil ways? What?

I hope not. X-Men movies are an adaptation of the comics. While that is fun and all its kinda stupid to change the source to be as the adaptation.

The movie is the movie. The comics, though in a gazillion universes, is the comics. The films popularity however might draw people to the comics and maybe fan-demand might allow for some characters to have at least a mini.

X-Men individual titles don't usually do too well though.

they also took away rogues ms marvel powers and revealed her real name to be anna marie

Well until decimation is put down to pasture. We may see the return of the core members again.

Yeah that was really agrivating. It only made me not wanna read the issues including her anymore. Same goes for Storm when she was depowered.

What do you mean there?

I want Dania's version of Callisto, complete with mutant tracking/assessment powers and sex factor to debut in the Ultimate universe....could do without the super speed...only enhanced speed...she shouldn't be beating Quicksilver in any races.

That sounds like a good idea.

She didn't seem as fast as Quicksilver in the movie, IMHO. We saw her running, even if only as a blur. We wouldn't be able to see Pietro at all...

I noticed since the first movie came out they suddenly began to push the Logan/Jean thing. Before that, she was never really all that interested in him. Slight attraction? Yeah, maybe a little...but she was dedicated to Scott and never really thought twice of Logan.

Actually, you can probably expect little to no impact from the movies on the comics.

That was just because they were on the same team together again. The tension/attraction (at least from Logan's side) was pretty much mentioned every time they met before that though.

I think the movie did a very very wrong thing, which was to perpetuate the idea of Jean and Scott not belonging together. Anyone who saw the movie got the feeling that Jean and Logan belong together, not Jean and Scott. It's like Scott was in the middle for those two to be a couple. I hate this. Jean and Scott should be together. If we keep bringing them apart... we might never see them together again.

Hopefully because Marvel knows full well how ****ty this movie really is.

Luckily the story arcs raped, I mean 'adapted', for the movie are already on paper and cannot be changed in anyway to dumb them down to the movie-verse level.

Only thing I'd like to see is a movie-like version of Callisto to appear in the Ultimate Universe.

Just without Quicksilver and Caliban's powers, thank you very much.
