It cheapens the deaths that these characters are killed off way too easily. The only reason they are even killed in the first place is because they’re just variants and can be replaced later on. If there was no multiverse in play, Feige wouldn’t kill these characters off so easily.

It’s like an episode of the Walking Dead where every other episode they introduce a new character, Bob, whom you get to know for 5 mins, then he goes on a dangerous scavenger hunt with the main characters, where Bob gets killed off rather easily to show how dangerous the situation was, while the main characters survives another episode. It’s Cheap.

They made the Illuminati, Bob.

That's not what this is and that doesn't seem to be entirely the case:

The implication is that Wanda's actions in this aren't really her own this time. She's under the Darkhold's influence and she isn't really herself. So all that can be excused.

Nah they copped out and made it so an outside force is causing her turn to villainy. Easy way to write around when they want to bring her back to the side of good.
