so all it takes for a sequel is a few (lot!) of people to get the dvd/br?

[starts singing] It's beggining to look alot like christmas...
Money talks right? :cwink:

If the suits at Marvel see this even come close to 100 mil, there's a strong possibility that a sequel is imminent. Alot of what I'm saying is wishful thinking of course. :woot:

hey, for all we know they just wanted dvd sales to make more than tih opening weakend!:applaud (wishful thinking is good for the soul)

sum1 else just said they saw iron man and indy 4 for like $10 on black friday, so it probably has more to do w/ individual stores sales than anything else.

Yeah, I saw them at Wal-Mart. Here's the add.

Woah woah...slow down there...

Just because I said that I think $100million may be what Marvel is after for a TIH sequel doesn't mean it is true.

We have no idea what Marvel's expectations are for the DVD, $100million was just a number I said and it seems that some members have taken it as if a producer or Marvel themselves have said it.

I also shamefully admitted that it was wishful thinking on my part in that previous post.

Right now, positive thinking is all we Hulk fans have. If in some way positive sales returns equal a probable sequel sooner than expected, all the more better.

Ah, gotcha.

I have changed my mind. I think Marvel want $150million in DVD/Blu-Ray sales for TIH2.

:cwink:

Gale Ann Hurd has said that it's basically up to us online to say "We want a Hulk sequel," so what say we get it started? (Points to sig)

This thing is pretty close to surpassing Superman Returns in DVD sales.

Is it doing good business???

By the way...are the deleted scenes added into the film, or are they seperate from the film in the "deleted scenes" section? I really only want the film if its restored to its original self with the Doc Samson scene, suicide attempt in the film itself

Looks like TIH took a hard plunge from the Black Friday craze. :csad:

From 7 all the way to no. 24.

Separate. And guess what? The movie would be way better WITH a lot of them.

ya, after seeing the deleted scenes, the movie does feel like swiss cheese.

actually that's a perfect medifor imo. the movies great as is, but it's still missing a few things!:woot:

I think the deleted scenes really elevate the movie. I already felt like it was better than Iron Man, but after watching the deleted scenes, that feeling was confirmed for me.

Here's hoping Universal/Marvel releases a Director's Cut.

It'll get the D.C. treatment like most Marvel movies do. In either version, I'd be happy because the deleted weren't bad at all...

Leterrier editing this incarnation with the hardcore Hulk fans in mind; he really didn't want any association to Lee's hence no emotionally, drawn-out breaks in the flow.
IMO, he succeeded.

I tend to think this was a studio mandate rather than LL's decision.

You could be right. I still think they couldn't go wrong with either direction. I got my money's worth with what we've seen already.

After watching this movie countless times now I still get chills the first time we see hulks face comes out of the shadows, staring at Blonsky.

After countless times of me viewing this movie, I still get goosebumps everytime Hulk does the thunderclap to extinguish the flames on the copter.

Some people think that that part is cheesy; I thought it was awesome. :word:

Haha, I recently picked up the Blu-Ray for my new player. This was the first time I noticed that the Hulk whispers "Leave me alone" in the bottling plant. It made me happy.
