^Yup, another scene that should have been included. I swear, the more I think about this, the more I get annoyed. Now I really understand the behind the scenes frustration that Norton demonstrated. Although, I'm sure those reports were exaggerated, I don't doubt there was some "heated" disagreements over the final cut of the film.

It was as if, because of Ang Lee's Hulk, the studio was so intent on making SUCH a different film in its pacing, that they went out of their way to excise most of the scenes where the film "breathes". Key character moments that helped flesh out character's personalities and their relationships with one another.

Take all the Leonard Samson scenes, the extended Ross/Blonsky dialogue on the super soldier program, the short conversation between Banner and Betty when returning to Culver University, the Ross fire speech and the extended Ross/Betty confrontation towards the end and insert them back into the movie. Combine that with what is already in the movie and this would become one of the best superhero movies ever made. I really believe that.

Why aren't we getting the Norton cut of this movie? With all the multiple releases of crappy movies that are out there, how does this not get an additional release? Even Fantastic Four has an extended cut edition that has been released. But none for TIH? Where is the justice? Is there anything we can do? This really makes me angry!!!

In a thread concerning a rumored Banner/Hulk cameo in Iron Man 2, poster dial made the following claim.

5. For those of you interested Norton (in person) and Leterrier (via teleconference) recently supervised a new edit of 'The Incredible Hulk' that will be released for the home market in the near future.

I'm taking this with a serious grain of salt but i'd be interested in seeing this new cut of the film.:o

Agreed. Except that it's not "if." That's exactly what happened.

My ideal Hulk movie is in between the 2 we've gotten so far.

We're getting a new cut? That's stupid. We have all the deleted scenes already.

It's not stupid if you want the previous deleted scenes incorporated into the movie and not as something you have to hunt up after watching it.

I agree with C. Lee. I like to watch a movie with everything in it. That's why the Watchmen Directors Cut was so cool to me

Excellent news, a DC will definately give this movie something extra and possibly take it right up there with the best.

I wonder what 'near future' means though. And its awesome that Norton and Leterrier did the cut themselves, must mean all is ok with them and Marvel, I will be Blu-raying this new cut for sure.

Agreed. Although I will still take this news with a grain of salt. The original poster also said that the Hulk is in IM2, if I remember correctly. So I'm not so sure about all this.

It has been strongly rumoured for some time that Norton and Hulk are going to show up in IM2, when asked, Norton gave a "wait and see answer" which was a bit tongue in cheak, so it maybe possible.

When I asked at Hulkspace, Who's fliping the bill for this DC Obi-Ron said that maybe this was Marvels peace offering to get Norton on board for IM2 and the Avengers. Make a lot of sense if you ask me. It could be a really good sign for TIH2 somewhere donw the road. Keep hope alive.

It sounds like a possibility, right? Could just be wishful thinking on my part though...

Thats entirely possible, I hope this DC sells like hotcakes, as that could be what gets TIH2 rolling.

It really frustrates me that Hulk can't seem to carry a movie on his own. I mean, Incredible Hulk had a very crappy teaser trailer, but the regular trailer was a vast improvement, and the movie itself was great. I suppose that seeing Hulk appear in other Marvel Universe movies is a decent consolation, but it does disappoint me that we're probably not ever going to get a trilogy of Hulk movies with Norton, unless Avengers is a huge hit and Marvel is feeling crazy enough to give it a third chance (along with Iron Man 3 and sequels to Thor and Captain America).

Any cool deleted scences? I still have not seen the dvd.

There are a few of them on youtube you can take a look into.

I'm at least glad TIH was put on Demand for both cinemax and currently HBO for the summer. So at least people can turn it on an maybe become interested in watching it.

How is going to the "deleted scenes" section of my Bluray hunting for them? You can even quick select all the scenes.

I dont have blue ray. Any Hulk smashing going on?

Just the opening scene. Which was really cool. The one where
Banner tries to kill himself and the HULK stops him.

I will give you guys that I would love to see that opening scene in the new cut.

I really hope this "news" is true. And I agree, with some of those deleted scenes included in the final cut, this would elevate the film to be one of the best in its genre. I'm trying to not to get my hopes up too high because that report by poster dial is all we have to go on so far.
