"sighs and waits for 3D fad to die already"
With the entire Star Wars saga being remastered for a 3-D theatrical release, it was only a matter of time before we'd hear that Lucasfilm was going to do the same thing to Indiana Jones. Well, that time is now. (Sort of.)
According to Blue Sky Disney, which has a good track record when it comes to scoops of this sort:
Next month, Lucasfilm will announce that they're converting the Indiana Jones Saga to 3D as well. The films will be converted and released in a similar fashion as the Star Wars films with Raiders of the Lost Ark the first out of the gate. There's no official word from Lucasfilm as yet, but with the bucks to be found in 3-D, we're willing to believe it'll happen, the only question being when.
What do you think? Would you go to the theater again to see Harrison Ford crack a 3-D whip in your face?
