More can't be bad? Can it lol?

BTW since you're in here Hunter, can we ever get rid of this redundant poll up on this thread, so we can actually rate the film itself?

I didn't think I could but it seems we have some new tools since the upgrade, so I've removed the poll and added a rating one.

10/10 for me. Best film of the year, and Tarantino's finest.

I also agree with this statement.

I really couldn't find anything wrong with this film or anything that I disliked overall.

Favorite film of the year and as said at the end, I do in fact consider this Tarantino's masterpiece.

Hmm, I need to see the film again to be sure if it is his finest. A masterpiece I would agree with (on his own accounts) but better than Pulp Fiction I don't know.

From a filmmaking stand point, I think this is his best film. But Pulp Fiction is still my favorite movie of his.

If this isn't a 10/10, I don't know what is. Can't wait to buy it.

I agree. I came out of the cinema stating it was his greatest, but also said that I need another viewing to fully decide. I think Pulp Fiction is endlessly watchable, so in order to compare it, I need to see IB a few more times.

Yeah, thinking about it, it could very well be his best and possibly my favorite. But again, I need to view it again.

I just loved Pulp Fiction for it being able to blow my mind the first time seeing it. I never saw anything like it before.

I can't help but agree with everyone...it's his best and my personal favorite.

Waltz's performance is right up there with Heath and Bardem...an instant classic villain.

Here's to the greatest film of the year with only a month left. I'm still lost on how many found the dialogue to be boring.

People with short attention spans. Those are the people who saw TF2 and liked it.

Yeah, Waltz was this year's Ledger and Bardem. Definitely villain of the year.

True.:o

As for Waltz, yeah, he still did a phenomenal job. He had the perfect physique for it, too. The combination of the look of your average kiss-ass and the performance of a vicious and incredibly smart man worked to perfection.

God, I want the Blu-ray version of this badly. I heard such great things about Waltz.

Does anyone else really wanna see a prequel to this film with Landa as a detective? I think that would be awesome.

I just got my Blu Ray of Inglorious Basterds.

Still just a wonderful film. Enjoy it very much. 93% for me.

I noticed though it was not longer, it is still only 2 hours and 33 minutes. Amazon must have been wrong.

Erm, DJ, I liked TF2 and LOVED IB, nothing to do with short attention spans.

Anyway, after a 2nd viewing on blu-ray this is easily a 10/10 movie, it totally engrosses you from beginning to end and its so hard to not get invested in the characters, every one of them is superb and brings something to the table.

Not quite best movie of the year for me, but being behind District 9, Moon and the Watchmen Directors Cut is no shame to any movie.

So is that the final film, what was shown in the theatre?

I just remember hearing about an alternate version that was shown at Cannes. I just wanted to make sure I bought the right version if there are multiple.

Well, at least you loved IB. :oldrazz:
