Introducing Carol to MCU

During Civil War someone knocks out a soldier and we hear the soldier referred to as "Danvers" over a radio.

Better yet, the military has to launch an airstrike and a pilot(you don't see her face, but has blonde hair) gears up and grabs a helmet with the word "Cheeseburger." It would be a nice

I think they should just wait until her own movie to introduce her, like with Ant-Man. Her origin is too important and elaborate to just gloss over in a team movie. Carol Danvers pre-powers could possibly cameo in an earlier film, but I really don't see the point in doing so.

Actually I can see that happening. There was a casting call for female military types about 5'4 with blonde hair a few months ago in Atlanta. Given how specific it was, it seemed to be more than your run of the mill extra.

Given that they publicly announced her solo movie and we know she's coming to the MCU and are on the look out for her appearing, if they were going to cast Carol Danvers for Civil War it would be on super duper secret lock down. Even if they didn't straight up offer the role to Emily Blunt or some other known actress and it was an audition or screen testing process, they would try to keep it as secret as possible. They would certainly not put it on a casting call.

I'd rather she show up during Infinity War Part 1 and her solo film is a prequel. Mahr-Vell's death needs to be present for Carol to carry the torch.
