I didn't see a place to put this in the Iron Man forum so i thought I'd post it here
Can't say it really impresses me much and i have no idea who the villains are but i prefer high tech IM stories over mystical ones anyway

And what was with that one scene where we saw between some chicks legs in the foreground, to Tony in the background. I was waiting to see a pair of panties drop, at least that would have made sense.

I've read over the net that The Mandarin is villain in this. Though I didn't recognize him from the trailer.

EDIT: Forgot word "read" from the sentence.

I prefer he fought more home-based villains. Or guys with their own armored weapons, like Titanium Man.

Well the Mandarin is Iron Man's arch nemesis after all.

Mandarin was cool because he had a multitude of abilities. But other foes, like Obidiah Stane, the Ghost, and Justin Hammer were the kind of enemies who threatened his life's work.

I like it, it looks awesome, they've changed Iron Man and Mandarin's origins again, which as a Iron Man fan I'm not thrilled with, but I like the story and the animation is much better than the two Ultimate Avenger films.

Still Mandrain is considered Iron Man's arch nemesis, more so than Justin Hammer or the Ghost. When Mandarin adopted his anti technology ideology, he became Iron Man's ideological opposite.

That ideology is too simple for my tastes. Tony's paradoxical relationship with technology is better than that, so I'm not impressed.

I actually liked the trailer well enough. It didn't have the narrative which could have really sold it but it was alright. The animation seemed very smooth, even moreso than the Avengers films and I've always loved science versus the supernatural theme.

But not very futuristic. We already live in age that's pushing towards scientific advancement, not magic. When he fought against the Ghost, Spy Master, A.I.M., Justin Hammer, Stane - these were guys who threatened Stark's view of technology. Stark is a captain of industry which makes him a target for these guys. They refined his view of industry and technology, like how Spy Master started the Armor Wars. That villain stole and sold plans of an old Iron Man design to Stark's enemies. Later he made the decision to stop producing weapons, even though Tony co-founded SHIELD!
