Invisible Woman vs. Wolverine

But that's ridicilious. Why give Wolverine the advantage here? Sure, he could kill her when she sleeps. That isn't a fight though. If neither gets any type of advantage, Sue owns Wolverine.

Bingo. Aunt May could beat Iron Man if you throw everything in her favor, too.

Wolverine can do stealth better than anyone. And if he wouldn't hold back, and she didn't know he was coming, she would be disected before her dying brain could even register what had happened.

And he could kill Captain Marvel by killing Billy Batson while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Storm by catching Ororo while she´s sleeping.

And he can kill Magneto by catching him while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Polaris by catching her while she´s sleeping.

And he can kill Cyclops by catching Scott while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Colossus by catching Piotr while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Flash by catching Wally while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Thor by catching Donald Black while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Human Torch by catching Johnny Storm while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Xavier by catching him while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill the Hulk by catching Banner while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Ironman by catching Tony while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Iceman by catching Bobby while he´s sleeping.

And he can kill Purple Man by catching him while he´s sleeping.

See the pattern here?

He can kill anyone with human durability if he catches them off guard in their sleep.
The question here is what kinda match that?

umm, well yeah. Its a bit different detecting force fields to detecting invisible people. Regardless of whether you are invisible or not you will have a scent, a force field won't - so while its reasonable to assume Wolverine might detect an invisible person by their scent, I can't see any way in which he can detect force fields

Plus there is still no way Wolverine would stand any chance against Sue

Exactly

Of course you´re either joking (best case scenario) or you have absolutelly no idea of what/who you´re talking about (worst case scenario).

Im with wonderwoman, Wolverine wins, and Zeu when did you become the decision maker for who knows what they are talking about? because from this stand point you dont look like you know crap:eek:

this is going to get good, hold on to your hats and glasses folks because this here is the wildest ride in the wilderness:)

Wow, a troll that actually warns people that they've started a flame war! I guess you CAN see something weird everyday!:D

Yes, it´s going to be good up til the part where a mod intervenes to remind you of what trolling behavior means.

Yes, it´s fun to say such silly things like "Wolverine can beat Invisible Woman" or "Wolverine can kill Galactus", as long as you realise how absolutelly silly such statements are.

I've noticed that those claiming Wolverine would win haven't actually bothered to justify their opinions with any sort of logical arguments, probably because there's no way to justify that opinion with any sort of logical arguments. She has power enough to crack a Celestial's armor, while he's a thuggish runt who can stab things; there was no contest from the first minute, you might as well have Jean Grey go up against Black Cat.

Even if his claws could -- through some sort of bizarre logic -- cut through her force field, read Astonishing X-Men #13 to see why that would still be completely useless. What's the use of pushing your claws through someone's force field if the rest of you can't go through??

In fact, considering that Sue has beaten Wolverine before in canon, I don't even know why people are still trying to show that Wolverine could win. The fact is that he didn't. End of story.

thats when the trolling started, what you can say people dont know anything and I cant say it back to you?

Look, foxx5, PLEASE read the previous pages of this threas and if there's anything at all that that other people haven't posted before then feel free to CONTRIBUTE to the discussion. Otherwise, it's just another Wolverine zealot trying to come up with non-sensical stuff. It'd also be great if you have a good grasp of Sue's range of powers and it's current level; none of that fainting crap she did in the begining, please. Thanks for being considerate!:)

thanks for your kind words, I dont know very much about sue, but it sounds like she has grown alot over time, but it is my opinion that Wolverine stands a chance, I understand that it is possiable for sue to beat Wolverine, but you can't tell me that there is not a chance that Wolverine could win, if comics have shown us anything, its that you can be surprised by the outcome of most fights, that means even you can be surprised when one day Wolverine beats Sue, the Invisible Woman...and thanks again for the respect Tropico, i'll calm down:)

There's a chance Wolverine could win. It'd just involve throwing a lot of things in his favor, which is a bit unfair to begin with.

I sometimes get my double negatives confused, but...if I can't tell you that Wolverine can win, is that saying that he can't win. Is that my mistake? Is it yours? Or is this a subcoscious acceptance of Sue's victory that tries to slip by you're unwavering pride for the character?:D

i fixed that that mistake after i got home at 8:37pm and it was well before you quoted me at 8:43, so i dont know how you quoted the mistake, but very good, you must have taken a real long time to post:D

Agreed, but that goes with many characters.

You do realize that all sue has to do is create a force field in Logan's brain, snapping his synapses killing him instantly.

or using a force field to pop his heart/lungs/bladder/liver whathave you. Or she could do it slowly, first by creating a force field through his cartilage between his bones, severing his limbs one by one. Then he would be as helpless as the black knight in Monty Python's Holy Grail.:p

Game match goes to Sue. How can you refute her power?:ff:

wolverine wins because if he lost a million people would sue marvel. Wolverine only loses to people who are more popular than he is. It is sad but that is what most comic book fights are nowadays big popularity contests.

Thankfully, we're not quite there yet. If that were true, Wolverine would only ever lose to Spider-Man, and maybe not even him.

Well, technically Wolverine could lose, as long as it makes him look good. Like, he loses because "he wanted his opponent to win" or "for honour" or something dumb like that.

And if he does lose a real fight, 10 bucks says he comes back an issue later and utterly destroys the guy/girl, even if he is galactus or something.
