Ipod vs zune

please support ur reason iam leaning to an ipod myself but it could change

Depends on alot of things. First, the Zune is Mac incompatible. Second, ipods break alot. Third, they're both pretty cool little devices, but if you like the scroll wheel of an ipod, then you won't care for the Zune because it simply looks like a scroll wheel. Most ebgames should have Zune displays up where you can check them out, and I imagine you have to know someone with an ipod. Check them both out and decide for yourself.

I've had my iPod for a year, and don't know how I lived without it. As long as you're not stupid with it, it won't break, and being that they've been around longer, they're more likely to work without bugs. I'd say its smart to take a 5th or 6th Generation device than a first gen device...

There's an extensive thread about the Zune here. It started out as a Zune fanboy thread but I shared a lot of information regarding the Zune both before and after release that paint a rather unfavorable picture of the device.

The bottom line is that the Zune has been nearly universally panned by critics and consumers alike. It's riddled with usability issues, horrible connectivity software and a draconian DRM scheme from hell. Zune's been such a commercial flop that retailers are already starting to offer drastic discounts on it in an attempt to dump their stock and over at Amazon's Top Seller List the Zune is being outsold by pretty much every iPod related item on the market including a GIFT CARD for the iTunes Music Store! LOL! Also, the Zune Marketplace has half the music and downloads available that the iTunes Music Store does, so your selection there would be very limited as well.

Zune is a hunk of crap. Don't buy one.

There have been rumors of that being something they're working on, but they're pretty unsubstantiated. Would be interesting as I'm sure Apple would only enter that market if they saw an unfulfilled niche that the current offerings don't provide.
