Not Irish.

Sicilian...with some German (but everyone in my area is German is some way.)

I'm half Irish! Both my parents are half Irish, so I'm effectively a half too. Lived there for my first few years, used to speak galec before I could speak english. Damn, good times...

I'll accept a half bottle of vodka, or a bottle of lager. kthnx.

We already give you guys a parade and memorial in Mexico filled with drinking and debauchery: Irixican style.

Kaz.

1/2 + 1/2 = 1/2? Friggin' metric! :woot:

I think the only culture not known for being extreme drunks are possibly the Mormons, though it's not a culture. Russians, Mexicans, Irish, Scottish, they're all known for loving the bottle.

There is a reason I had to cheat to pass maths. Its true though. My father is scandinavian/Irish, my mother is english/irish. They're both half irish, so if I'm getting a quarter of Irish from each, I end up with a half.... right?

You may have something there.

"Paddy" is an offensive term, just so you know. Its not something any Irish man (or woman) would let you call them.

I can honestly tell you that you are wrong there... I know plenty of people who are called Paddy and I'm from Ireland... 100% Irish born and bred

We'll take our payment in the form of a Certified Cashier's Check or Money Order. Thanks.

Yeah, but isn't it like one of those things a fellow Irish person can do but not anyone else? Because in general, its a derogatory term started by the English.

Not really... it all depends on how you say it, like everything else it can be insulting but can also be joking around all with the tone of your voice

It's really just a shorter term for Patrick (or in Irish Pádraig) so there's nothing insulting about it... there are much worse terms that can be used to insult an Irishman

I'm Irish/Dutch. That's why I can hold my booze.
Hey me too...High five.:woot: I likes my booze and I likes my women. I think I have some German in me too though. No french though...wheeew.

If your mom is 1/2 Irish and your dad is 1/2 Irish.....

That would make you 1/4 Irish from your mom's side and 1/4 Irish from your dad's side equaling 1/2 (1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2).

Math to the rescue.
