Just finished the game, man Iron Monger is tough!!

You can now use unlocked suits replaying missions!

You see that is why I am glad I am gonna just end up renting it, I could like you beat it in no time, 5 days is enough for me to get what I want from it.

Well I played it on Easy. Normal was too difficult for a first go imo. Might play it on Normal next though.

I know! I just wanted to have some fun and get some enjoyment out of the game but with Normal I got to level 4 and it was impossible and really frustrating so I went back to Easy.

Easy is difficult enough too but not to the point of getting high blood pressure!

That was really tricky on Easy too. You know you can fire at the incoming missiles and blow them up right, even though you can't target them. The reactor is the main thing to protect so that's mainly what I did. Once Jarvis announces incoming missiles head straight to the reactor and fire on the missiles.

Yeah. I'm lucky enough that I can usually hit the first one in the row, and that starts a chain reaction.

thanks for letting me know about the suits... i'm glad to hear that. it wouldn't make sense if you couldn't... they have an achievment or two you can't get unless you do replay the missions with certain characters.

if you think easy was rough on lvl 4... just wait till lvl 7 with titanitum man... lol... i've been playing on normal... but you know what? i never use the unibeam... so once i remembered to use that on titanium, i was all set. I still have to repeat that lvl to get the kill bonus, i rushed through it and still had time ... the lvl after, with the subs and the destroyer wasn't too hard.. i mean it was rough if you're stupid and rush into the middle of everything... but you wouldn't make it that far intot he game if thats the case lol...

dont tell me how many lvls there are... i dont wanna know if its short or if i'm near the end

I will say this - the Mark II armor, fully powered up is awesome!! Hulkbuster is pretty sweet too!

i dont wanna say its a rental... but for those would bought and enjoyed superman... buy this game... its so much better and more challenging.

its something you may enjoy playins a couple times.. as i've been playing it none stop and trying to get achievments and 100% complete lvls before i move on to another lvl.

its really fun, and like i siad, challenging

So, I'm just hanging out, playing the game, and I get to the Iron Monger level. I fight him for about 8 or 9 minutes, and I deplete his health bar, and then it refills.

Time, after time, after time, his health bar has refilled. I'm on the 4th, or 5th, I can't remember, health bar and I only have one life left!

On the PS3 version in Normal mode how the heck do you defeat the Stark Industries helicopter??? I haven't gotten past that!!!

Catch the missiles and toss them back.

i suggest LOTS of guided misskes from your suit. its hard to catch those missles. I beat it in the time trial without catching his missles, and i made it within him sending out one set of pods. So, route your energy to your weapons and use those missles!

And you're better off reading the past post, because thats not even NEARLY as hard as the rest gets.

no idea.. and i think metro's comment is VERY closed minded... i finished the game and thought it was great.. now i'm starting over on hard mode... wtih 2 achievments left to go... Storm, did you get the achievment for using no weapon systems? what lvl did you use?

No I haven't got that achievement yet, forgot about that one actually. Must try it.

i was going to beat it in formidable but i couldnt get above the fifth level so i passed it on normal iron monger was not that hard i only got 2 armor breaches. and guys idk what happened but i already did ALL the hero objectives and i dont have the EXCELSIOR! achievement seriously im only missing that and the superhero achievement.

has anyone played the PS2 version yet?

I only have a PS2......been holding off on buying any of the nex-gen consoles.

Is it worth it to get this game on PS2? Or, should I just hold off and wait till I can play it on the Xbox 360 or PS3?
