8:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Pacific, Iron Man Anime Screening
Witness the dawn of Marvel Anime as we WORLD PREMIERE the highly anticipated, full-length, pilot episode of Iron Man! In addition to the screening, we will be featuring an exclusive first look at upcoming designs, produced by the world-renowned Japanese animation studio, Madhouse--whose notable films (to name a few) include hits such as: "Ninja Scroll" and "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time." Room 6DE

They are also having a video game panel at the show. I really hope Iron man gets another try. He's perfect for video games. Get him away from Sega! They made Panzer Dragoon and still puts a crap team on Iron man (RIP Team Andromeda).

No word yet on if Marvel will reversion the series in English. G4 SVP John Rieber implied how G4 shows programs from Japan with English subtitles and the same could happen here.

Here are spoilers from the first episode:

-Tony is traveling to Japan. He wants to introduce a new clean source of renewable energy with an ARC Reactor project to spearhead a global peace initiative. He flirts with the projects leading scientist. Pepper is also in the series and communicates with Stark via video conferencing. Tony feels Japan is a country that can help realize his dream for world peace. Tony Stark in this series is also publicly known as Iron Man.

-There's a bit of culture shock with Tony and Japan. Tony likes to take the spotlight and act outlandishly which can put some people off. The Japanese people are also curious if Tony's intentions are legitimate.

-Tony announces that he's retiring as Iron Man, and he's picked out three new pilots to lead an Iron Man DIO armor iniative. The DIO is a mass produced Iron Man armor to be worn by hand-picked upstanding soldiers and guided by the military and Stark Industries. Tony however upstaged the 3 candidates and debuts the DIO armor in public himself. The armor however malfunctions and Tony crash lands after the ceremony. It's possible the malfunction was caused by an outside source that took control of the armor.

-Another one of the pilots is testing the armor and it goes berserk again. The pilot appears to go catatonic or loses control. Tony takes up the Iron Man armor again and forgoes retirement. He dispatches the crazed DIO armor, but is attacked by an armored beast or possibly a robotic cyborg called the Zodiac. Stark beats the Zodiac, but the DIO armor disappears.

Saw it at Comic-Con, wasn't too impressed honestly. It felt more like one of those DC/Marvel DTVs than an actual anime.

Well I thought the first episode was a bit slow. Sometimes anime can be like that after the first episode.

when does this air?

I just saw this. I didnt like it too much. It was kind of boring. I didnt laugh and the action was pretty meh

Just saw episode 1 a few days ago, and it was OK.

Just give it time and I'm sure it'll improve :D

this show sucked i thought that nothing could beat the Fantastic Four Anime but i guess i was wrong

Ok, I am some one who generally dislikes anime but after seeing this series progress(just finished episode 5) I'm kinda starting to really dig it. I especially like the reiteration of Iron Man's origin in episode 4. It's told in flashback while the main current story is being told. Sure, Wolverine showing up is kinda out of the blue but I didn't mind. He didn't resemble Logan much though. Much too smooth an operator it seemed to make him. Anyway, having to read subtitles is a pain but I'm sure it'll get dubbed in English eventually.

I just saw a few more episodes
still think its meh
Wolverine Anime is much better
