Comics Is anybody else getting this?

My local paper (Chicago Sun-Times) has started a promotion in which every Sunday they have a reprint of a classic Spider-Man comic. It's a cool bit of nostalgia. So far they've run AF 15 & Amazing #1 (which they broke in half). Is this happening anywhere else?

I keep them for my kids. They're learning to appreciate the medium. You know something I did at the Con & this woman behind me thought it was so cool? I got them the issues of Amazing that came out the months they were born.

I believe they are doing that here in Pittsburgh too. But I already have these stories in Essential Spider-Man Volume 1, so it's all good.

I also live in Philadelphia and I have been getting them in the mail along with the paper.
Three issues have been out so far.

Yeah-it's just a nice little treat. I like to think of it as Marvel's way of saying "I'm sorry for the sidekick suit/unmasking/turning him into a sychophant/faking MJ's death/stingers/Gwen's kids & all the other crap that's happened on Joe's watch."

The best way to say sorry for all that now exists, would of course be to actually fix it all.
Oh well, guess that won’t be happening anytime soon.
Here's hoping that the Loeb/JSC team is headed to ASM nxt year.
I know Loeb wouldn’t do anything ******ed.

The B&W Essentials just don do classic ASM justice.

..I think a new volume has shipped/is about to ship actually.
