Not this wierd. In 616 its always been pretty subtle if non-existant, in Ultimate its pretty much Millar hitting you over the head with a baseball bat.

Subtle? Sure, but it's been there, Ultimate has indeed magnified it, but it's always been in that relationship on one level or another. Now if this had been say, Ultimate Havoc & Cyclops then I'd be shocked. In this case it's just dredging something that's been lurking in deep water.

Considering they were based on Angelina Jolie and her brother there shouldn't be any surprise to this. They french kissed at an awards ceremony, there's recorded evidence of this. Add to it that Wanda was flirting with one of Pym's robots who mostly resembled one of those robots from "I, Robot" than the 616 Vision and you know that she's a freak.

if there were undertones of it in 616 then its probs done to explore what millar's sick mind thought was cool. he's sick and we love him for it. its definitelyt there, it'll probably be addressd but not in too much seriousness. i like the way wanda gets the best out of petro by saying somebody hurt her. i also like the dig at her powers, just before we got to see her use them. it was somewhere along the lines of: "what exactly is it that you do?" Brilliant.
