Is anyone else finding ultimate Wanda and Pietro's relationship a little disurbing?

still don't understand why that makes you think you know more about the Ultimates than anyone in this thread. Tropico, for example, agreed that the relationship was incestuous.

Because people who actually read and enjoy the title arent registering that fact. Is my comment some how offensive? Did i hurt your feelings? It was mostly a sarcastic comment ie. not supposed to be taken seriously, but like always guys cant take a joke and take evrything way too seriously. Its pretty sad really.

Not this wierd. In 616 its always been pretty subtle if non-existant, in Ultimate its pretty much Millar hitting you over the head with a baseball bat.

Mark Millar is about as subtle as, I dunno...

Personally, I think it's pretty cool for Pietro and Wanda to be that way. I'd much rather it be them than say...Scott and Alex or even worse Thor and Loki (which really wouldn't be that bad considering Loki...).

Im not in anyway sanctimonious. I actually think that I dont know **** about most stuff when compared to Copr or Eilijya, but if thats the way you see me, meh, what can I do. I like most people on this board including yourself and Genesis, really it was a sarcastic comment, maybe I need to add a rolleyes smiley or something but I really didnt mean it to be take so seriously. Frankly, the fact that i took the time to read Ultimates when most on here know im not a fan of it pretty much proves that I dont think of myself above it all. I've never understood the point of arguing over differences between the 616 universe and Ultimate. The whole point of having mulitple universes is so you can do different things with the characters. Ultimately(no pun intended) if they kept it to one continuity/same backstories you would end up with the same stories over and over again. While alot of the stuff done in ultimate hasn't worked as well every now and then they get it absolutely spot on. I love the concept of Ultimate Thor as this ageing hippy-type (then again as the name suggests hippies are all good in my book! ) and that couldn't be furtherfrom the original version but this is my point it's about experimentation and if they just play it safe all the time the stories become boring. For example everyone is pissed about house of M being practically wiped from history after the fact, but this is what happens when marvel decide to "play it safe"/Joe Queseda is lstened to . I say take risks, see what works!
