Is anyone just sick of Wolverine?

His healing factor has evolved to the point that he can teleport now. ;)

Not really teleportation, he can send out a drop of blood and it will grow a brand new Wolverine, this is how he can be 15 places at once.

Right, sorry. And he can throw his copies across continents because having adamantium-encased bones gives him super-strength. :)

See that's just wrong in my opinion.
Once the blood, piece of skin or whatever leaves the main body of Wolvie it should die, period.
I liked alot of the adtions Marvel's added over the years, (claws actually being a part of him etc.) but things like that are pushing it.

I was just tired of Wolvie appearing in books he shouldn't be. I can see a team-up or crossover, but just to have him in Spidey, hulk, or cap, just because, is lame.

Wolverine has become Marvel's Superman. Not in power level or icon status, but in the "he's hard to write b/c everything's been done to him already" way. He can heal from anything so no matter what gets thrown his way you know he's coming out the other end.
Because he's in so many books, the amount he goes through is up as a result of being out there so much.

Regardless, I still love him and his stories. Like any other long running player, he can be written great and bad sometimes.

I think Wolverine is probably alot easier to write than Superman. Superman's basically a demi-god, who is vulnerable to very few things, and his boy-scout image means writers have to walk a tight rope regarding his personality and behavior. Wolverine, though, can be hurt, although he can heal from his wounds. He's also a badass who takes no prisoner, and would kill if need to, so sky's the limit with him.

Just wait until the Thor crossover. It's gonna ROCK!!!!11 :D :D :D

Yeah Finally!!! The that's the thing tho Corp, I hope Thor isn't books he doesn't need to be in just because he's popular now. That can backfire.

Good God...everyone brings up the damn drop of blood.

That wasn't his doing, it was the crystal's.

Now the reforming after Nitro...yeah that was stupid.

True. Although, at the moment, we've got the opposite problem: Thor, a founding Avenger and one of the major powers in the Marvel universe, came back and his return hasn't really made any waves. Thankfully, it looks like his guest appearances in Hulk and Secret Invasion, his SI tie-in mini, and a future guest appearance in Incredible Hercules should be fixing that soon.

Yeah, I'm sick of Wolverine, but i'm beginning to get more sick of people that are sick of Wolverine.

I, Hate, Wolverine. ( That's little too rough, I don't hate the character, but I hate it how everyone treats him as a best X-man or even best character in the Marvel-universe. He's not.)

Yeah, I'm sick of Wolverine, but i'm beginning to get more sick of people that are sick of Wolverine.

I'm sick of people who are sick of people who are sick of Wolverine.

That's cool, because I like people who are sick of people who are sick of people, who are sick of wolverine.

I'm ambivalently neutral towards people who like people who are sick of people who are sick of people who are sick of Wolverine.

Well then no sour patch kids for you D-bag. :(

Man, that "_______ about people who are _________ towards people who are _________ of people" thing was good for like four or five more posts, but you killed it.:csad:

That's okay, he probably likes the roof of his mouth.

Naw, I'm firmly in the "self inflicted suffering via sour candies" camp.

Although for my money Sour Patch Kids were always kind of weaksauce, for real sour the only thing that ever did for me were these Super Lemon candies you used to find in Asian supermarkets.

White Rabbit was my Asian candy of choice growing up. I recently found an Asian supermarket that sells them and went absolutely ****ing crazy over having them again. I think I scared my friend.

At this point I am more sick of Iron Man than Wolverine, even if the movie rocked and so does Fraction's new title. He pops up a lot more often.

But I am sure with a movie next year, Logan will go back to being one of Marvel's overexposed cash cows. And some artists will start drawing him like Hugh Jackman again, to the annoyance of all. :o

I think within 10 years Wolverines gonna be leading half the superhero teams in the Marvel universe if they keep on putting him in every book.

He will lead the Avengers, X-Men, everyone

Okay, but look at the comparison: Iron Man just had a movie come out and he got, what, a mini-series or two and an extra ongoing out of it. Wolverine's gotten an extra ongoing, numerous minis, and numerous one-shots without any movie bump. This is just standard operating procedure for Wolverine.

You also have to count all the guest stints on other books. Iron Man is at least "the New Wolverine" of the past year or so.
