I HAVE HEARD NO RECENT NEWS REGARDING GALACTUS IS HE STILL IN THE MOVIE CAUSE IM HAVING DOUBTS I HOPE HE IS I CANT WAIT TO SEE HIM THE GIANT ON SCREEN IN HIS AWSOME COSTUME PINK PURPLE AND BLUE

THIS LINE FROM AVI ARAD SCARES ME,"WHAT WERE TRYING TO DO IS NOT SHOW HIM INISHALLY" DOES THIS MEAN THEY'LL SHOW SURFER IN THE BEGINNING AND SHOW HIS ORIGIN AS A FLASH BACK LATER ON IN THE MOVIE AND THEN A BIG SHOW DOWN WITH GALACTUS AT THE END ???? THAT COULD WORK I GUESS PLEASE GIVE US SOMETHING REGUARDING HIM IM GETTING A LITTLE SCARED FOR THE FATE OF GALACTUS IM MEAN U CANT HAVE A MOVIE WITH SS AND NOT INCLUDE GALACTUS PLEASE GIVE US SOMETHING TIM STORY

man i ****ing hope so, he would have to be, even if it is just a cameo, or they would **** up the whole silver surfer stoy line, but yeah he could be really sweet if they do it right

The general consensus is that Galactus will show up at the end as something of a cliffhanger. Maybe we'll see him, maybe not.

If they're fleshing out the Surfer properly in this film, while also featuring a rematch with Dr. Doom, then there's simply no time to do Gallactus justice all in one film.

And there's NO PINK in the Big G's costume. That's already been debated -and settled- before. There's a bust on the market that appears to have a pinkish headpiece. This may be a mispaint or it could be the lighting for the photo, but there is no pink on Galactus and never has been.

I am on the fence. On one hand, yeah, I'd like to see Galactus get a cliffhanger, but at the same time, if they only do three movies, then two have been used on SS and Galactus, when we still have many more stories that could be done with the FF. Inhumans, Negative Zone, etc. At the same time, I don't want to cram SS, Galactus, and Doom's return in one movie, while still having to develop the FF.

The same way the comic book did: The FF encounter the Silver Surfer, are told Galactus is coming, and Galactus arrives in the final scene.

Gee, imagine they actually followed the comic!

By throwing Dr. Doom into the mix, I imagine they have more than ample material to cover before Galactus enters the scene.

The Silver Surfer's origin does not have to be told in this film. Only what he is.
And I would hope everyone involved would remember: The original SS/Galactus saga does not tell the Surfer's origin. It only introduces him as a character.

I think if they actually tried to show his origin in this movie, they would really blow it. The origin would almost have to show Galactus, which would certainly take away from the big moment of his arrival.

The origin is what the SURFER movie is for.

And his origins can be alluded to without ever actually showing Galactus.

I really think Galactus' arrival will be the final scene.

The cliffhanger at the end of POTCead man's Chest doesn't seem to have affected the response to that film, at least not at the box office.
This story was made to be a cliffhanger.

The FX for the FF should be a little less expensive this time around, since all that was developed for the first film. This time around, I would expect the new FX development to be primarily for the Surfer.
More than a brief appearance by Galactus would surely strain the budget past comfort.
I want to Galactus' screen debut to look every bit as good as the Surfer's. I don't see that happening if they try to squeeze everything into one movie.
