Is it me or...?

Is it me or is Storm the only X-Men in the first movie to get their butt kicked? I mean, she was thrown every where and shoved against alot of stuff.

Wolverine gets his butt kicked way more than Storm. If we're talking full-fledged members of the X-Men, I would say Storm gets her butt kicked more than Cyclops and Jean Grey but not by much. That said, she returns the favor better than any other member of the team.

Wolverine isn't really an full-fleged member till like the third film. And I do think that Storm gets it way worse than Jean or Scott. Did you not see her fight against Toad, she was thrown down an elevator shaft.

Yeah, I saw Storm's fight against Toad. She gets hit a couple times and is kicked down an elevator shaft. Still, it's not as though she takes brutal punches to the face and is thrown down an elevator shaft from the top of a skyscraper. Sure, it's worse than what Cyclops and Jean Grey endure, but it's a convention used to make Storm's revenge that much sweeter.

Thats one of my Favorite parts in the movie, when she flys up from the bottom of the shaft and shocks Toad. Its one of the best parts of the movie.

"You know what happens to a Toad when it's struck by lightning?"

"Same thing that happens to everything else."

Someone got pawned. And one of the best lines in the movie. I miss the accent. Why did Berry decide to drop the accent in the next installments.

You know it took me forever to get what storm meant, with the whole " same thing that happens to everything else."

I never noticed the accent in the first movie.

Yeah storm got it bad but not as bad as wolvie, meh

Yeah, but Wolvie isn't really an X-Men in this movie, so Storm gets the worst beat down out of the X-Men.

I've always felt that the X-men movies have always toned down the true power of all of the characters. It was such a shame that we never got to see Cyclops actually have to fight off someone with his optic blasts. And what was up with Sabertooth? He gets hit with a bolt of lightning and hes done Doesn't he have a greater healing factor than Wolverine, and not saying he died in the first movie, but would't ya think he'd show up again more pissed than ever.

Lightning can push people around I thought it just hit him and he flew back because of the shock.

I'm confused. At the end of the movie, Sabretooth is blown back, or pushed, by Cyclops' optic blasts, not Storm's lightning. Sabretooth is struck by lightning in the middle of the movie, but he recovers almost immediately. As for if he survives Cyclops' blast and the subsequent fall, I think he does, but he probably flees the scene or is captured like Magneto.

1. That line was horribly cheesy, and not cool in any way.

2. She lost the accent because she is a hack of an actress.

Yeah, Halle isn't very talented, I laughed when she got an Oscar. Cheesy lines, lame Storm.
