Well, (and people have probably already said this) Storm's the leader of the school and whatnot. And Logan will always be battle leader for me. Because the person that kicks butt will take charge on the field. ;P
But yeah. I vote Storm.

Are you saying Storm can't kick butt? Please...

Wolverine was way over-rated in this film... I get sick of him so easily. Mags should have slaughtered him already. He's had so many opportunities and I'm pretty sure he'd enjoy doing it. I know I would. I mean... being shot in the head and surviving in X2... whatever! He should have been dead there and then.

Storm is a better leader, wolverine in the comics has never been a leader I think he serves beter as a teammate than a leader

Tom Rothman would rather die himself before letting Wolverine die. :o

They give Wolverine toooooo much attention. It'sd bad enough Storm is just now getting a bigger role, but Wolverine was still the star of the other 2 and this one! It's like Wolverine said " Okay, Storm your the leader. Now do this and that".

I'd say Logan. Storm is in charge of the school until Xaviers return...and Logan has really evolved into a more team oriented, leadership character.

Logan's a jackass. So over him. :p

Even though I think Storm is the offical leader, I can see the Logan angle. I got the impression that at first he was picking up the slack , but when it came time to really get down to business he was definitly stepping up.

He stepped up, indeed. But that's because the writers made him do so. In this scene, he was so untrue to the comic Logan. The comic Logan would never step up like that. I can just see him sitting in the background with a pissed off look on his face, exactly the same as he had in the scene when they decided to keep the school open.

Storms seems to be a responsible teacher than a leader....in the movieverse

One of the many things that annoyed me... they made out like Storm was the smart/conserved/quiet one, when really the true character can be quite commanding and ferocious when meddled with.

She needs her Mohawk,And to be aggressive...I'll never see a storm like that I don't think Halle can pull it off...her voice is just to soft and not deep

She does indeed have a soft voice, which makes it hard to picture her being aggressive. But she can certainly pull of the look. That one particular shot, where she coat-hung Callisto with her teetch gritted gave of a "Take that, you little *****!" look. :p

But remember, this is the Wolverine from the movie, not the comics.

True, but still i like storm better as a leader

I always saw Comicverse Storm as having the characteristics of a strong regal female monarch. A greek Goddess (minus the jealousy).

Exactly my point. But I just didn't see it in Halle nor have I ever seen her portray anything that would lead me to believe she would do the character the justice that it deserves. My .02.

Well, to an extent I agree. I never saw Halle as Comic Storm, she got closer in X3, but there were still fundamentals missing. However, once I resigned myself to one simple, unrefutable fact "The movies are not the comics." I saw Halle as the Storm of movieverse. In doing so I enjoyed the portrayl all the more.

And I agree with you wholeheartedly. The first time I stepped into the movie theatres back home to watch X1, I went with my old high school crew AND my dad who had never read an Xmen comic. But I'd been away from home for a year (having recently joined the military) and he wanted to enjoy the film with us. He only remembered icons from my old comics, optic blasts, claws, blue skin. We all walked in expecting to see a good movie, not a comic book movie, just the personifications of our very own mythology. We rocked by the film! It felt like I was in high school all over again. I just lost that with X3. There was no consistency with this final installment. :(

For what it's worth, I didn't go into the theater imagining Iman or anyone else as the Movieverse Storm, any more than I would be grousing about Hugh Jackman's height compared to the comics Wolverine. It was Halle, whether I liked it or not, but thanks to weak characterization and some pitiful lines and ho-hum scenes from the first installment up to the last (well, except maybe for the time she fried Callisto, that was the only time the character ever approximated the Storm I knew and loved ) what I saw was Halle. In a white wig.

Luckily enough for me I was able to look beyond that. The few lines Halle had in X1&X2 actually impacted the story (well except for the Toad lightning line but I can forgive that).

I loved the Toad lightning line... very comic book Storm.

Well I'm glad you did. Maybe it was just her delivery that didn't sell me on it. It just sounded corny.

I don't think it was. I love how she said "Do you know what happens to a Toad when it's struck by lightning?" and then slowly raised her head to look at the sky... "The same thing that happens to everything else". BANG! Toad in orbit.

It would've been perfect if the bolt would've struck Toad dead on! And then *POP* instead of *crackle*.
