Should they have made Storm and Magneto more POWERFUL compared to Dark Phoenix?

Wanna know what else he did during the final battle? Slapped two random mutants and performed a 2nd fastball special. The End.

I thought about that to, but then I thought about it again. What exactly could Storm do?

The way that they did it worked well, IMO. It gave us Bobby vs John and it also led to a very powerful scene with Magneto being hit with the cure (which required teamwork). I'm not sure what Storm could've done during that scene besides creating the fog to enhance the fight...Remember? "We work as a team".

If I could control the wheather in that situation, I'd call forth a wind so strong, it'd knock that old man and kid thrwoing cars right off their feet. And then strike them both with lightning.

yeah I heard. Sling-shot boy's what I call him. Does he really not speak one line in the film?

The problem is that they should have gotten enough time to do the movie right without rushing.

Storm should have used her power to blow the cars back.

The xmen should have fought phoenix before the vaporizing started.

When Bobby is looking for Rogue he asks Pete if he saw her. His response "Yeah, she took off". That's all we hear from the big russian.

No Russian accent unfortunately.

Oh so I missunderstood... It wasn't that he didn't have one line. He only has one line. :( wow poor colossus. Poor cyclpos too. Poor rogue as well.

Colossus was way better as a small cameo in X2. His character got defined a little by showing his drawings, his metal form was simply too amazing for words, left a huge impression by throwing the soldiers through the wall, he had a significant purpose because he brought the children to safety, and he had more than 1 freaking line.

agreed. singer said in his commentaries that we would see more of him in the sequel.....too bad he wasnt there to make that happen

I wasn't too happy with Storm not doing so well up against Callisto, but she did get her in the end, but I think they might have done that to get that "Oh, yeah finally, she got her!", type feeling, but Storm was much more powerful in this movie, she finally got to use her powers.

Magneto seemed fine to me.

It's funny 'cause now that Singer's gone, Ratner had Storm using her powers alot more, Beast finally got in the movie and was done very well, The Comic Movie Oscar goes to Kelsey for his portrayal of Hank.

angel finally got in too, even though not much, he's there. The whole thing felt like the comic.

I thought she got to use her powers more in x2. the tornadoe, the blizzard, the lightning, the rain storm the end. In x3. she used fog control and lightning and she was about to brew up a storm before professor x talked to her.

In X2 the only impressive use of storm was the end blizzard.

The tornadoes didn't really do much. Those jets would have both crashed but they didn't. Lightning strikes could have taken out the rockets.

The lightning in the church was ok.

That was the extent of her powers.

In X3 i loved when she made the weather turn dark and stormy but why did she do it? There was no reason for her to be doing it. It made no sense. WHy was she upset? Beast had not even arrived yet.

First, it was there to remind people of what her powers were. Second, she says why right there in her conversation.. :p

Yes she could have easily thrown those cars back at Pyro and Magneto and just have a concentrated Tornado on both of them. People seem to forget that Storm has other powers at her disposal besides lightning. Plus she can use the lightning/electricity in many different forms. She has made electric forcefields around herself to fend off telekinetic attacks by Candra (more powerful telekinetic mutant).

I dont know they made her seem very light. They need to use her powers in more interesting ways as she always does. Have her let loose for once.
