?

What is the proper spelling? Hypester or Hypster?

  1. Hypester...silent E ftw

  2. Hypster...we don't need no steenking 2 E's

We've seen both spellings here at the Hype...but which is the correct one?

I cannot find a word similar to Hypester/Hypster to give me some sort of bearing on the proper pronunciation. The closest I've found is hipster (and I don't even know how to use that in the proper context...nor really want to) and that is with a short i. Jokester with a long o, is spelled similar to Hypester. I've seen Dudester with a long u...but I'm not certain of the credibility of that spelling.

Anyway, enough of my droning on...please vote and let's settle this once and for all.
