Is it too little too late ratings wise?

While Volume 4 has definitely been an improvement story-wise for the show, is it too little late to save the show ratings wise? They continue to go down even when the show's story is picking up. (Of course, this is all my opinion that volume 4 is/was the right track for the show's story and an improvement, so I could be wrong and most people could just see it as a continuing downward slope for the show...or have people just left already because of the ****** earlier volumes that started in season 2?)

So question is do you think the ratings are never gonna go back up again?

They might go back up again at the start of Volume 5. It seems a lot of the time the ratings start high and start going down as the season progresses as people lose interest and don't feel like catching up even when the story improves. When the next season starts up, some people might be more willing to give the show another go as a new story starts. I think ratings will rise higher then they are now when Volume 5 starts but the only question is by how much.

I don't think the ratings will EVER be what they use to be, but I think the show would benefit a little bit more if it were moved to a night other then Monday.

When you factor in production costs of this very expensive show, yes.

It has simply fallen too far and serials, due to their ongoing stories, seldom regain an audience once they lose it. I think NBC is willing to give it a chance with Fueller back (who will probably replace Kring as show runner over the summer)...but if things don't improve and get back into the 8 or 9 million viewer range, it'll be axed by the winter.

Volume 4 has improved in writing but still no where close to the show's potential. I'm hoping a drastic change in direction.
