Anyone heard anything? I'd like to see if they do more with Scott after that bit of a cliffhanger ending with him, leaving it open for more.

either way is fine with me. i like Austin Powers and if they can come up with some more funny stuff then awesome...but if not then Austin Powers already has a trilogy anyway.

I loved all three, I thought each one was better than the last so I would love to see a fourth one.

I dunno. Towards the 3rd movie the jokes started to burn out for me and the humor started becoming repetitive. If Myers can somehow pull out something more fresh and original I wouldn't mind seeing another I liked them.

i think they ran out of juice by the time they got to Goldmember, which is a shame because Caine could've been even more marvelous with a sharper film.

I wouldn't mind if they made another one. I enjoyed all three.

hopefully not, because the trilogy got progressively worst. the first was pretty damn funny. the third was simply unbearable.

I loved them all.

Bring them on.

Loved the first two. But the third one was just terrible. Not sure if I would want to see another one.

I read somewhewre there was going to be a fourth one that was to be titled For Your Thighs Only. I love all three movies (though I do think that Goldmember fell flat in spots), so I'd see another one.

I dunno. We'd have heard something about a fourth one by now, wouldn't we? Plus, given that they're all time-travel movies (of sorts, taking into account the first one's suspended-animation gimmick), they've been to the '60s, the '70s, and the '90s - I guess the question is, do we really want to see Austin Powers trying to adjust to the '80s.

B'sides, Myers has been adding a multiple role with each sequel, so I can't say whether he'd want to drag himself out to bring in a fifth one for another AP movie. And let's face it, between this franchise and Shrek, Myers is already practically typecast again...the only other memorable thing he's done is Wayne's World.

So I'm gonna say no at this point.

He could adjust to the late 2000's. :D Heh....heh....bad idea, I know. :(

But he's been living progresively through out the years since 1997. That wouldnt make any sense. I love all three. Well, maybe not the second, but then again, Heather Graham cant act to save her life, so maybe its unfair to compair her to Elizabeth Hurley. Anyways, with Dr.Evil not really being evil anymore, there wouldn't be much of a point. If the ending was any indication, Seth Green would make one crappy replacement.

I thought it got a little lame after the first one because they stop making fun of spy movies, and just made fun of everything...

There will be a fourth, Mike Meyers for one has eluded to it and since we haven't since him in years I am inclined to believe he is working on it.

Austin Powers is funny in five minute bursts. Making three movies is almost as ridiculous as the notion that people paid to see the same thing three times.

nope because goldmember was a pile of crap that wasn't funny and jokes as the previous movie

Well the first was pretty good, the second was much funnier and IMO the best of the three with the most hilarity and originality (it went beyond the obvious spoofs) and the third was really funny when it came out but has not aged well past one viewing because it simply is the second and first movie retooled.

As it is, I still like the third simply because Michael Caine elevates it and the opening with Danny DeVito going "HEY A$$HOLES! IT'S ME MINIME!" gets me every time.

But in retrospect the first holds up the best, though I still think the second's funnier.

Anyway, the series was running out of steam in the third one and I think Myers knew it. That is why he said it'd be the last one and if not for Caine it would've fallen completely flat. I think he pulled the plug at just the right time and going back to the well would just not work and it would end up being as unfunny as a Jim Carrey comedy then.
