It is now 7.3.07!

And thesame happened with SR. If I were Spielberg, I wouldn't move release date because A) it's a great date for opening so huge blockbuster B) it's Wednesday and C) most of people won't get know about it, because trailers and TV spots have already been released with 7.4.7 line ;)

I wish they would have 9pm showings on 7.2.07....

But thats just because I feel like an old fart!

im on the gold coast man, how bout you?
they just opened a new gold class here, gonna kick ass!:trans:

I'd be suprised if there was more than midnight showings the night of 7-2, but I'd be super happy if there was. :)

Hahahaha I said that.

Well, I'm both suprised and super happy to know screenings officially start that evening!!!

It was announced a few days ago that Paramount/DreamWorks will release Michael Bay's Transformers in theaters the evening of July 2nd. What we didn't know is what time.

ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! has learned that the movie will be released just like Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, which started screening at 8 p.m. on May 24th and played all night leading into the weekend.

The first Transformers screenings will also start at 8 p.m. on Monday, July 2nd and theaters will run the movie all evening leading into the "official" release date of July 3rd.

Executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the anticipated movie stars Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Anderson, Rachael Taylor, Megan Fox, John Turturro and Jon Voight.

A theater in Amsterdam (Tuschinkski) is getting the exclusive rights to show the movie a week early, starting on June 28th! God willing i'll probably be going on either Thursday or Friday to see TF.:woot:

well as i am in australia....i get to see it on the 28th.....will be running straight from work to watch it thursday night. [early thursday morning for u americans]..
weeeeeeee.wooooooooo!!
i will post my critical review 1st thing....i have been anticipating a TF movie for years now....having read the script and patrolling these boards regularly, i know that the story isnt going to satisfy me the way i wouldve liked or envisioned, but being a big G1 TF fan, just seeing optimus prime on the big screen kicking some decepticon tail will be enough...and seriously, even the most jaded critic of this production has to agree that it looks damn spectacular!!
until thursday night....

Got my ticket now. Although I am so worried I am going to leave the theater disappointed. I have been looking forward to this movie for a couple years. And yet I keep spoiling myself with all the footage which for most movies has left me feeling disappointed. But every damn clips and spot I watch makes me jump up and down like a 3 year old at Christmas about to open up The Land Before Time and watch it for the first time.

Does anyone know if this movie might be on the Imax?

Harkins in arizona will be having 8-10-12am shows. On July 2nd.

That's not very "exclusive" I'm afraid. A number of countries have the release date set for the 28th of June. :woot: Including mine. :woot: And if the print gets to me tomorrow I might get to see it tomorrow night. :oldrazz: :woot:

Hate that it won´t be coming out till the 20th here :( why didn´t they just have one international release date like other movies like Spider-Man 3 and At World´s End

Tuschinkski and Pathe (which owns them) struck a deal with Paramount to get the movie shown there one week early. The rest of the country won't get TF until July 5. That makes it exclusive, savvy?:cwink:

That sucks! Some countries won't be getting it until August.
