That's another gripe I have about Game Of Thrones. These white walkers were teased in season 1 and a huge army of them were shown in the season 2 finale. Here is it is season 5 and they finally getting around to addressing this threat. Can you imagine the hate if any other show tried to pull something like that? Like walking dead for example, the hate would be insane. Like if they had shown The Govenor in season 2 but he didn't appear in the show again until season 5. People would be crapping on the show.

Here is it is season 5 and they finally getting around to addressing this threat. Can you imagine the hate if any other show tried to pull something like that? The show isn't called Game of the White Walkers. It's primarily about politics, not magic. Isn't it far more rewarding to reveal a threat that's been looming in the background for a while?

Or they were trying to adapt as much of the books as they could, since they have to draw a lot of it out, as well as kinda do some new stuff, because there won't be a new book for awhile and there is a limit to what they can do from the books. This crap about people complaining about the lack of White Walker build-up and exposure is stupid.

Doesn't the IRS just send you a notice through the mail if you have something pending with them?

I can guarantee you that's not how it went in the writers room.
