Wait Human Torch got banned?! He was a solid poster and never seemed like the poster to lose his cool. I don't know all the facts or info on the Drugar case, and I am not defending his actions. But torches opinions couldn't have been that offensive right? I mean I have my opinions or beliefs that make me unpopular with certain people, but I can believe Torch went out like that. He made it through the "Believe" thread, and trust me there were times even I had to hold back on what I really wanted to say there. Because there were users who were trying to make a mockery of people's beliefs in there. Anyway, much respect to you Human Torch.

He was defending the guy molesting children by saying such things as it was just something all of us boys have done.

Bumping 23 threads, some that hadn't been posted in for at least 4 years....and most them were simply spam threads to begin with.

Not trying to offend the mods, but I noticed that they aren't very forthcoming with information regarding bans, thread's getting deleted etc. You usually have to seek them out for info. I also noticed some users get insta bans for somethings they say that are deemed offensive while others say similar things or take shots at other users and maybe get a warning or infraction and nothing more. What's up with that?

Simple answer...99% of the time, it is quite obvious why someone got banned or some thread got deleted. Human Torch getting banned was all over several threads the other night when it was done. It was no secret, dozens of posters saw it and most called for his banning. Some people get instant bans for saying something in the forums that others may only get infractions for a variety of reasons....mostly because of saying things that you do not see. They say things in PMs, they say things in extremely offensive posts that are deleted, or they have built up a history that causes something they say to be the last straw.

So, has anyone tried this new soda??? It's just delicious on an epic scale!!!

I haven't seen it. Funny that they have gone back to the hillbilly moonshiner on the label....haven't seen them use that in decades.

My MOUNTAIN DEW story.......in the 60's I was living in Kentucky, mountain dew was only known across the nation as another name for moonshine....then they started selling the soft drink on a test basis only in the Appalachia area (Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, west Virginia, etc)....I loved it, drank it all the time....we then moved to Orlando, Florida. I'm 12 years old....I go to the store to get me some Mountain Dew, can't find it....so I ask one of the people working there..."Where can I get me some Mountain Dew?"....he looks at me like I'm nuts....Him: "What do you want?"....Me: "Mountain Dew....I drink it all the time back home." Him: "where you from kid?" Me: "Kentucky." Him, shouting to other people "Dahhhmmmmnnnnnn you won't believe what this hillbilly kid just asked for."

So I went to my comic shop today, figured I'd get the other tpb of Alias they had. Yesterday a car crashed through the front of the store but they cleaned up the damage and boarded the front up while they repair it. Sadly they didn't get a break, some guy was walking around complaining about the price of trading cards and whatnot. Because after something like a car possibly hurting people, THAT'S what people want to deal with.

Busy day for the DJ. Hit bonus again at work today (that would be every day so far this week) so that is cool, I love fat paychecks. Went to my AA meeting and heard some good stuff. Got home and had a sandwich only to find that my bread is getting moldy so I just didn't eat that part. My Avengers hat that they messed up on from Amazon is getting me a free hat because they sent the wrong one and then another Punisher hat I ordered is getting a refund because they are out of stock (even though they said it shipped ) but I found the same one on ebay for $2 cheaper so that's cool. Also got fist dibs on 597 records of old school FL breaks from back in the day and the guy is going to sell them to me for $1 a piece!!! t: Needless to say I told him to round it up to an even $600 and he can drop them off on Wed when I get paid and I'll throw him some gas money (he lives close). All in all it was a damn good day

The only reason I didn't try it when I saw it was because they had it all out on display and not in the cooler. I do love to the do the Dew so I'm sure I will procure some in the near future

First of all IT IS a god damn classic But as another more enlightened poster has already pointed out the only thing that makes the original stand out from all the other 90's flicks in the same vein was the stellar cast. Reeves, Swayze and Busey are a trio to be reckoned with. But I think the main thing that just irks me is the damn thing was made in 91 and that's too damn soon for remakes! Makes me feel old dag nabbit!
