Where's my remake?! And me gold?!?

JJJ, I've told you, you should cut down on the sweets, they make you hyper & looney. :o

Wait Human Torch got banned?! He was a solid poster and never seemed like the poster to lose his cool. I don't know all the facts or info on the Drugar case, and I am not defending his actions. But torches opinions couldn't have been that offensive right? I mean I have my opinions or beliefs that make me unpopular with certain people, but I can believe Torch went out like that. He made it through the "Believe" thread, and trust me there were times even I had to hold back on what I really wanted to say there. Because there were users who were trying to make a mockery of people's beliefs in there. Anyway, much respect to you Human Torch.

I stayed far away from that thread that got him the boot..... but I'm sad he went out like that... :csad:

This is random but as anyone eaten a Chik Fil A chicken patty wedged between two hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts??!! Well I did during lunch today and it was amazing! I frequently eat at Chik Fil A because there food is fantastic and I am also addicted to Krispy Kreme as well. You all should try it sometime!

No.... :oldrazz:

Though I might get tempted... :woot:

No offense to ShadowBoxer, but I hope that Krispy Kreme/Chik-Fil-A fusion "delicacy" is a one-time only thing for him. That's an express ticket to a heart attack or the diabeetus. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but c'mon... at the risk of setting myself up for a bad joke, I'm having a tough time imagining a worse thing I could put in my body.

I am gagging just thinking of anything sandwiched between a glazed donut substituting as a bun.

The XBox Amazon Video app and the PS Amazon Video app are completely different, the PS one is way better.

My MOUNTAIN DEW story.......in the 60's I was living in Kentucky, mountain dew was only known across the nation as another name for moonshine....then they started selling the soft drink on a test basis only in the Appalachia area (Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, west Virginia, etc)....I loved it, drank it all the time....we then moved to Orlando, Florida. I'm 12 years old....I go to the store to get me some Mountain Dew, can't find it....so I ask one of the people working there..."Where can I get me some Mountain Dew?"....he looks at me like I'm nuts....Him: "What do you want?"....Me: "Mountain Dew....I drink it all the time back home." Him: "where you from kid?" Me: "Kentucky." Him, shouting to other people "Dahhhmmmmnnnnnn you won't believe what this hillbilly kid just asked for."

A year ago I would've winced reading about Shadow's Krispy Kreme/Chick-Fil-A sandwich thing. However, I've since discovered this "Chicken & Donuts" place downtown that makes similar types of sandwiches and they are really delicious. Granted, their donuts aren't glazed and seem more like fry bread and I can really only eat there once a month because my health deserves a little consideration but...yeah, don't knock it 'til ya try it.

So I'm playing Fallout 3 and I try to fast travel from one location to another but it tells me I can't since there's enemies about. I look around and don't see any then turn around and see a giant mutant bear comes flying at my face from three feet away. It made me jump and I'm still laughing. :D

Edit: It just happened again! ****ing random encounters. :argh:

I tried one of those Dew Shine sodas tonight. Not what I was expecting, but it was very good. Probably my favorite non dark soda.

I'm considering checking out San Andreas on the bigD this weekend. Could be fun even if the story is cliche and dumb. Also considering watching Aloha at the bargain time. $5.75 isn't a whole lot to pay and I enjoy the way Crowe wears his heart on his film's sleeve.

I've got a soft spot for Crowe too (and the general cast), but those reviews are just too awful to justify me spending money on that one.

Simple answer...99% of the time, it is quite obvious why someone got banned or some thread got deleted. Human Torch getting banned was all over several threads the other night when it was done. It was no secret, dozens of posters saw it and most called for his banning. Some people get instant bans for saying something in the forums that others may only get infractions for a variety of reasons....mostly because of saying things that you do not see. They say things in PMs, they say things in extremely offensive posts that are deleted, or they have built up a history that causes something they say to be the last straw.

That's understandable. But I seen several users make offensive comments and take shots at other users that on multiple occasions in the past few months, that are still posting here today. Not gonna name any names, but I guess they are on their walking on the edge now.

The chick fila doughnut thing isn't a regular thing. But I definitely would eat it every once in a while.

Yea I am sad to see Torch go out the way he did. I didn't see his posts but they say he was defending molesting kids. From my interactations with with him he didn't seem to be a person that would defend something like that. I feel like people misunderstood what he was trying to say or it took it out of context. But again, I didn't see his posts so I am not exactly sure what his thoughts were. Also, the chicken sandwich doughnut thing isn't a regular thing with me ha. But it was good.

No he straight up said molesting young girls is no big deal. Hard to misinterpret or take that out of context.

They didn't take it out of context. Torch, without knowing anything about the Duggar case, immediately jumped into the thread and accused everyone of "persecuting the Christian right" for wanting Duggar to be held accountable for the molestation he admitted to doing. He then said that what Duggar did "was something most teenage boys do" (paraphrasing, but it was along those lines). Literally everyone in the thread immediately called him on it, at which point he doubled down and refused to apologize, and he was gone. There was no missing context.

Torch got everything that was coming to him.

Everything.

Now that he's not-dearly-departed, he should only be mentioned on here in the context of celebration gifs. :o

Well he even stated he was aware that the guy fondled young girls but then tried to say that molesting girls is not the same as rape.

I'm glad you liked it, as some of my esteemed colleagues here on the Hype would say, Dewshine is f****** alley. :sly:

That's dope homie. I just picked up a SHIELD shirt and SnapBack the other day. Today I'm rocking my Cap jersey and trucker hat for casual day here at work
