I heard about the Aunt Petunia controversy, the user was Franklin Richards I believe. That whole situation is hilarious to me still.

I was revealed to be an American pretending to be a Canadian so I could get people to send me their maple syrup, but it ended up not being that controversial.

I'm on to you Pinky. You just wanted someone to cover you in maple syrup.

He's been on Canadas No-Syrup list for years now.

When it comes to syrup give me the cheap ass Aunt Jemimah's please and thank you

Bah, come on up to Canada sometime and we'll hook you up with the good stuff. The first hit's free...

I finished The Flash. What a fantastic season, and a superb finale despite a bloody cliffhanger! :argh: I hope the movie is good, because it's gonna have big shoes to fill after this show.

Out of nowhere the theme song for Super Mario Bros just got stuck in my head

Well lookey at what I found in a recently bumped thread over in the books and music subforum:

Well, while we're recommending our own books I might as well join in the fun and recommend mine :woot:

Mathion: Book One of the Mavonduri Trilogy by Jeff Shanley http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004NIFH8A/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_RI2dpb0F5EQJN

Synopsis:

In an ancient time long lost to legend, a race of men known as the Wolven inhabited the land of Ánovén. To the north lay the land of Kânavad, home to a brutal, savage race we know today as Werewolves.

At the age of seven, the Wolven prince Mathion encountered a dying White Wolf, and received two gifts that would forever change not only his life, but the course of history itself. Centuries later, now with a White Wolf at his side, Mathion gathers together a small band of warriors, consisting of both friends and family. Their mission: help the city of Kihar defend itself against an advancing army of werewolves. Along the way, Mathion learns of a secret that he has carried with him his entire life, and a power that can change the tide of a war that has raged between the Wolven and the Werewolves for over twenty thousand years. Little does Mathion know that his enemy is well aware of this secret. And they will do anything to obtain the final piece of a puzzle that, if completed, could condemn the world to eternal darkness. When someone close to him is captured alive by the enemy, Mathion attempts the impossible: to venture into the enemy's homeland itself, and infiltrate the stronghold of Lord Azgharáth, the oldest and strongest of the werewolves. With this choice, events are set in motion that will hurtle these lands toward a final confrontation, and an epic journey is begun that will change everyone's lives forever.

THE MAVONDURI TRILOGY recounts the life of Hâr-Mathion Mavonduri, last king of the Wolven kingdom of Ánovén, and his destiny to overthrow Azgharáth the Betrayer, High Lord of the Werewolves. In the millennia since the destruction of these lands, his tale has been lost to us...until now.

:cwink:

Whatever happened to that guy? There's some clown running around with the same name.

He was the greatest troll in SHH history. The fact that Franklin Richards/ Aunt Petunia is still remembered and laughed about is saying something. He was also the original Catfish case before the movie and MTV show.

Yeah that was an amazing season Finale!

I don't know why DC is against having a shared universe for their movies and TV shows. I assume it's because they don't want to copy Marvel but it would make sense. I love The Flash show and think Grant nails the role. I would prefer he be movie flash as well. Even though I am not a huge Gotham fan ( I don't hate it but it needs work) I wouldn't mind if the show was canon to Affleck's take on Batman.

Gotham's problem is that most of his villains are going to be like 15+ years older than Batman himself.

That's why Batman always wins. All his opponents are geezers.

The Joker will be like "You know how I got these scars? From my hip surgery."

I love Batman's rogue gallery, but they are cool because of Batman. Imagine if the Joker's arch nemesis was Plastic Man? He wouldn't be a cool villain. Batman and his villains make each other cool. So, when you have show about the villains and Batman isn't even in it, I just don't see the point.

I like Batman's rogues gallery, I also love Superman's gallery the best.

Yea that's been one of my issues with the show as well. Bruce is like 13 on the show but penguin, riddler, harvey dent, are all in their mid to late 20's. That Jerome dude it hat is suppose to be Joker was like in his late teens or early 20's as well. The only other rouges introduced so far are Selina and Ivy and both of them are Bruce's age on the show. But word is more rouges are coming in season 2. So either Bruce is gonna be like an 18 year old Batman in this universe or a good chunk of the rouges will be middle aged by the time Batman hits the scene.

JJJ and Godzilla2000 all within a couple days?

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

and to the Ulcer of JJJ... awoooooooo

Just a day before JJJ was banned I mentioned how he shouldn't spend time making fun of all the banned members, cause it could happen to any of us. Then he gets banned. Ugh JJJ why couldn't you just chill? :(
