I figured I'd ask first & get feedback. I'll probably cave & buy it as a blind purchase, & if I enjoy it, will get the seasons that follow.

I'm going to be the only person to tell you da troof, and it's that Game of Thrones sucks. The action scenes are boring as hell, the political intrigue is decent but not better than other shows that do it better, and the only saving grace is nudity which is mediocre anyway. Plus there's always porn for that. You can see more and better **** any time you want, so that's a lame reason to go all in on the show.

Lord of the Rings it is not. It's not even the Hobbit trilogy.

And if you want a blind buy show to watch then I'd suggest Banshee because Kane would kill me if I didn't recommend his favorite show.

As for the action scenes someone didn't see the last episode. Badass as ****.

It can get a bit slow at times but that's why I say binge watch a few episodes at a time.

Pfft. Game of Thrones fight scenes are weak as hell. It's like watching bum fights. Tong Po would own them all without needing a sword.

Game of Thrones is kinda overrated to me. I recently started watching binge watching the seasons on HBO Now and I am mid way through season 4. I mean the story is cool, but after a while it just gets tiring and some what boring. The show seems to go for more shock value and graphic nudity and sex than anything else. I am contemplating on whether or not I should stop watching it.

Season 4. Yeah you should keep watching that one for 2 reasons... Oberyn Martell and the War at the Wall.

You should catch up with Vikings, it was quite good this last season.
